Well, nothing much has surfaced concerning the item I posted that would
corroborate it in a more scientific setting. That doesn't necessarily
change anything for many of you, but might lead others of you to just leave
it in the wacko x-files category.
However, as with many other things in life, take a look at not so much what
can be proven satisfactorily or not, but what process does it take you
through, or what process would it take all of us through? If a huge object
apparently designed and built by extraterrestrial intelligence appears in
our skies, what does that change for us, how does that change our concept
of reality? What changes in our society would it bring if highly advanced
visitors suddenly start appearing on our own planet openly and verifiably.
Will the stock market crash? What will our governments do? How will our
lives change? How could we prepare better?
Now, on to more details about the announcement. Most of it is from the Art
Bell radio show last night 11/14-11/15. It is a program airing all over the
U.S. every night, often bringing up very controversial subjects. If anybody
is interested in the actual show, one can order tapes of the 5 hour program
from 1-800-917-4278 in the U.S., or from the Art Bell web page at
http://www.artbell.com
An amateur astronomer named Chuck Shramek who had been studying the
approaching Hale-Bopp comet in his telescope every night noticed yesterday
an extra object next to it that hadn't appeared before and photographed it.
It didn't fit with anything that was supposed to be in the sky in that
location. He measured it to a size of 4 times the size of planet earth. He
measured its luminosity and found that it was evenly lit accross its whole
surface, which is very unusual for a celestial object, and it appears to be
emanating light, rather than reflecting it. He checked his equipment in
many different ways to rule out that it would be an optical effect in his
lenses and it appeared the same way no matter what he did. You can see the
photograph at http://www.onelambda.com/flemming/hb_big.jpg The bright
object on the left is the comet. The Saturn-like object on the right is the
mystery object. He called up Richard Hoagland
http://www.enterprisemission.com/ who collects controversial astronomical
information, and was told that several other astronomers had observed the
exact same thing.
That's what's available in terms of mainstream down-to-earth data. The more
extraordinary input comes then from the practice of remote viewing.
Scientific Remote Viewing is a set of protocols for the practical and
reliable acquisition of intelligence data through the trained use of human
psychic potentials. It was developed for the U.S. military for the use in
remote reconnaissance of targets significant for national security. That
part is verifiable and the CIA has openly admitted that this program has
existed. The U.S. Congress recently approved funding for a continuation of
the program. Now, a number of the people who were trained in the military
in these techniques are training civilians in these techniques and are
publishing their findings.
One person trained in these techniques is Dr.Courtney Brown. He is a
professor in political science at Emory University, but also runs the
Farsight Institute for Scientific Remote Viewing. Their web site is at
http://www.farsight.org/ and has many transcripts of remote viewing
sessions aimed at different kinds of targets. Anyway, several independent
viewers did viewing sessions yesterday on the target of the Hale-Bopp comet
and the mysterious new object. The way these sessions are done, the viewer
has no idea in advance what the target is, but is just provided with a
random number to identify it. The sessions are done blindly and by several
different people independently of each other, and the results are compared
with each other. Anyway, on the Art Bell show Courtney Brown described the
results of these particular sessions in great detail. The transcripts of
these sessions should be up on their web site shortly. In short, they
identify the object as being partially a technological vehicle, created by
several benevolent extraterrestrial races and sent towards Earth with the
aim of waking us up to a bigger reality. Courtney Brown also yesterday
called up the astronomy department of an unnamed university and was told
that they saw the new object as well.
November 6th, the day after the presidential election here, the Farsight
Institute posted an annoucement on their web site.
http://www.farsight.org/announce.html Essentially it presents results of
remote viewing sessions targeting the very near future, describing an event
in the South Western United States where extraterrestrial vehicles would
appear in great numbers, leading President Clinton to going on TV
announcing the fact and disclosing what the government has much more
information about such matter than what it has admitted before.
You can think about this what you want of course, and in the absence of
experiential facts, it is up to you what you want to do with such
information.

I got a lot of interesting and/or interested responses to my message. One
person wanted to know what to wear when the aliens landed to make the best
impression. One person said he had seen the movie and that it all ends
well. A bunch of people asked for the estimated time of arrival of this
thing, whatever it really is. And the more scientifically grounded people
asked for verification from acceptable sources. Well, gee, I don't really
know the answers to any of that.
You decide. The truth is out there.
