|Description||"The Annals of an Imaginary Symposium" is a multi-essay book presented as a science-fiction. However it's much more science than fiction, and portrays the "First World Conference on the Consciousness of Gaia". The book is only the very readable texts of the twelve lectures, almost humorously presented by twelve fictitious characters from many countries with different ages and races. The subjects range from physics to anthropology, from mathematics to religion, from exobiology to jungian psychology. It's my intention to bring state of art knowledge updated untill the year that Symposium is "scheduled" to happen. Six of the lectures are available in English in the book's site http://www.simposio2008.hoisel.com.br . Unfortunately, The Annals of an Imaginary Symposium exists only in Portuguese. An English version is almost ready and an American (or British) publisher is welcome.|
This book prefigures a Scientific World Conference to happen in Jamaica, in a near future summer. That event is now a Project presented in the New Civilization Network. I'd be happy to send other lectures not available in the site, by e-mail to anyone interested.
