I don't know about all the material related things. It is so hard to get even a small group to agree on one thing. To be silly and old..I feel love is the answer. Love amongst all. Starting in small groups..both physical and mental. Not following moral rules, but just pure love and joy. No possession, no jealousy. I don't know, always felt if everyone really loved each other there would be no problems. But then I guess in this world it may be impossible..just too many egos in the way.
Sorry to be so old fashioned..but it is what I believe
Some thoughts:
1) I participated in a robe project where an artist in Germany was collecting poems or prose and an article of clothing to put together as a symbol of world togetherness. That is similar to the cloth idea I read on the visions post...great idea. Anyone else participate?
2) My contribution to the visions thing is really quite simple: Listen, hear, converse in real dialogue, seek to understand. Then I pose to you sibling NCNers..all else will surely evolve.

1.I'd like to live in a world where people give you a chance. I'm rather tired of the crap of getting "NO experience " reply when I look for work.
2.You want to get the employment rate down then hire people who are willing to learn and are willing to learn to get the job done, even if it means giving people an entry level position.
3. I wonder when I look in the classified for programming jobs who the gurus got thier first jobs, probably through contacts. The employment policies of companies are a BAD JOKE. How are you supposed to get experienced, if no one is willing to let you try. To give you a job where you know you can handle he work load and move on from there.
4. Some people espouse a One World govenment view. I DON'T. Who in the hell would would you allow to carry such power. The Soviet Union had it's try at hegemony and failed. The only way this world will be peaceable and livable is if people take action for themselves. Politicians only look after their own interests. Just look at history. Do I need say more ? I am a Zenarchist. What is that ? The ethymology of the word is the following:

ARCHY =social order
therefore A social order which springs from meditation.To quote (K Thornley,Zenarchy,p12) "As a doctrine it holds Universal Enlightment (for all) for the Abolition of the State failing that nobody will give a damn" Even Ben Franklin, said tghe best government is the one that governs the least". Following this thought to its conclusion would no government at all... Anarchy !
5 Now some people want a society based on play ! I think that is great. In order to abolish the State we have to abolish the work ethic. To quote Bob Black(The Abolition Of Work & other essays, Bob Black, pg 17) " No one should ever work.
Work is the source of nearly all the misery in the world. Almost any evil you'd care to name comes from working or from living in a world designed for work. In order to stop suffering, we have to stop working.
That doesn't mean we have to stop doing things. It does mean creating a new way of life based on play; in other words a ludic revolution..."
Work here is described as forced actiivity. If you are forced to do something, you certainly are not free. So much of society based on forced activity. Human society as such is NOT a free society. You do not have free will. Thus if you are software designer and love to do despite the office poltics then most of what Bob mentions in this essay really doesn't apply to you.
Even Christ made some mention of work by stating see how the lilies in the field toil not... but man does against God's grace.. Gee Christ was right after all. So much for the work ethic :)
6. A society based on love and equality would be nice where humans are freed from materialism would be nice, where material goods come in abundance and ALL can have free access to it. Of course the catch is the cost of development.
7. My last point. I don't see things changing too much in the near future. I think comes Year 2000, after all the partying, it'll be back to business as usual, unless everybody decides it is time to CHANGE a few things ;]

I am fifty two years old. I realize now that my whole life was shaped in such a way so that the truth could be known to me and that I could help, at least some, find their way into a new and better world.
I love my children dearly and I pray every day that God will watch over them as well as millions of other beautiful people over the coming years. I do know the truth and it is very painful.
Our world, over the next few years, is going to be reshaped and cleansed by forces that are greater than you have ever imagined. Humans have been distroying our beautiful planet for much to long and we passed the point of no return many decades ago. Millions will die over the coming years due to severe weather, crop losses, followed by greater starvation, fighting and sickness, all of which was brought on by human ignorance and greed.
Industry and the lust for money and material things is destroying us and only a handfull of you people out there are willing to believe thie truth. NOTHING**NOTHING is going to matter to anyone a few short years from now except having enough food to eat and finding a safe place to have shelter, a place where other starving people can't get both you and your food.
My dear friends nothing else that you talk about is worth a damn because starving people are not going to care about anything other than feeding themself and their families. very few of you out there. I'm trying to do something about it, at least for as many as I can, but I am amazed at how blind people truly are!
I read earlier about billionaires. I think that about the last thing that I would want to be over the coming years is a billionaire. Besides that very same billionaire would gladly give their entire fortune, a few years from now, for plentiful food and a secure place to live and not one person will give up their food for a billion worthless dollars...
All that we hear about today is how our future lies in industrial development, new technology, high-tech this and high-tech that. Your ONLY, hope of any future at all is to learn to live a sustainable lifestyle and to develope a whole new respect for every other living thing that we share this planet with. If you think thqat this is alot of Bull.. Your not only WRONG, your going to be DEAD WRONG.

He says that "the dirty little secret" of the present civilization is that the innovators and paradigm blasting technologies of this past half-century (at least!) have been produced in synergy with psychedelic experiencing. This one phrase is excruciatingly alerting: "the dirty little secret."
The informed people I read everywhere about NCN are aware of many secrets and elegant ideas--constructs to concept-lever us out of the cul-de-sac of our present civ-paradigm--somehow--hopefully--doggedly.
The only McKenna book I haven't read is Archaic Revival. We have the answers. This is the strange predicament of our times. We're like the character in the movie "Ghost" whose hand passes through the object he wishes to grasp. The answers are lying there in full view. Yet they are considered "dirty" if acknowleged at all.
Wiring-up to the vegetal Gaian computer and community is central to our mission in these lives here, and the real civilizing engine. What is our present civilization juiced by? What drugs drive the machine and enable the peculiar ghost of this fading civ? From what point does all the weight hang?--Never mind reconfiguing the various entities in the mobile. Where's the suspension link (which is creaking now audibly). The civilization is a mobile.
It's nicer being a tree. Brave roots need to explore and spread. Brilliant limbs need to stretch and celebrate, continuous with the roots...the earth..the stars. So what are we hangout, about to be dropped as a seed-fruit?

Regional Networking System [RNS]
A Regional Networking System is a Lateral system, not hierarchical system. The idea of a Regional Networking System is to empower people on a grassroots basis. The linking of individuals & groups to solve the problems that individuals & community face in there daily life. Also, to improve the quality of life for everyone, not only those who can afford it. The system needs to reach out to all members of the community, not just the activists. It needs those on the Left & Right, & those who are not involved in politics. Those who are religious & those who are atheists. Both old & young. Those who are members of a majority or a minority. The way this can be done, is to state that the Regional Networking System is neutral. But has a positive direction of community development. If it not neutral system, but take a direction that will alienate one section of society. Then it wont work.
A Regional Networking System is a Three Dimensional Networking system,
consisting of :-
1] Area.
2] Subject.
3] Cooperation
1] AREA DIMENSION
'Local Community Network'
If a Individual joins a 'Local Health Group' which is interested in helping people to improve the health of the local community. The 'Local Health Group' may also link up with other groups in the local area i e. Education groups, environmental groups, spiritual groups, etc. To form a 'Local Community Network'. The membership of the 'Local Community Network' will also be open to Individuals, so that everyone from the local community can be involved in the decision making process.
The objectives of A 'Local Community Network' is to:-
a] finding specific local problems & solutions
b] helping people to solve their personal problems.
c] setting up neighbourhoods networks or linking with existing organisations.
d] Individuals & groups coming together in their neighbourhood, to see how their neighbourhood can be improved. Also, having social events.
e] A local Community network can have the neighbourhoods networks come together to coordinate there activity.
f] Individuals & groups in the local Community to find out what projects & events to plan for their area.
g] Linking existing groups/organisations together
'Regional Cooperation Council'
If each local area had its own 'Local Community Network' then all the Local Community Network's could come together in the region to form a 'Regional Cooperation Council' to coordinate regional concerns like Transport, Homeless or the environment, set up Forums discussions on regional matters. The Regional Cooperation Council would deal with matters that couldn't be done on a local basis. Also, if any conflicts arise could help to solve them or refer the conflict to a mediation service. The Regional Cooperation Council will link with other regional Coordinating organisations.
2] SUBJECT DIMENSION In the Subject Dimension the 'Local Health Group' can link up with other local Health groups & organisations to form a 'Local Health Network'. It would coordinate a local health strategy for its area, plus any other coordinating activity.
'Regional Health Network'
'Local Health Network' could also link up with other 'Local Health Networks' from other areas to form a 'Regional Health Network'. This would focus coordinating activity on a regional basis on the subject of health. And exchange information on what each network is doing. Also, it could join the 'Regional Cooperation Council'.
The above example show how a specific subject like 'Health' can be organised. We can have endless number of subjects like Education, Personal Development, Spiritual Development, The Homeless, Environmental, crime-prevention, sport & Games, discussions, unemployment, poverty, etc.. Anything that people are concern or interested in.
3] COOPERATION DIMENSION
You will notice there is a lot of overlapping networking & activities. This is done on purpose. Because it will be up to the people involved in the networks to decide if there is too much duplication & what changes are necessary. Cooperation is the most important part of this 3D-Networkng. Because it would be impossible to work a Lateral system of organisation without it. There is another question to answer. This is how are different regions going to cooperate & coordinate with each other? The first thing is to state, that the 'Regional Cooperation Council' is not a body that demands that every group & network obey is rules. Its relies on voluntary cooperation, but it can set up conflict resolution structures.
Cooperation Councils in different regions can cooperate with each other, & set up International networks. Also, the 'Regional Cooperation Council' would link with other regional coordinating organisations.
HOW CAN A 'REGIONAL NETWORKING SYSTEM' START UP?
What is needed is one person in each area [coordinator] who know the theory & wants to link up with others to form a 'Regional Networking organisation' [RNO]. The RNO has two objectives,
a] Starting up the 'Regional Networking System'.
b] Promoting community development.
RNO can start by Promoting community development. It start a project which anyone can join & become a member of RNO. There is any number of projects the people who set up RNO can start. One such project is a network of Learners & Teachers. Putting people who want to learn a particular subject in contact with people who want to teach that subject. This is just one example, there are many others.
RNO can also collect a database of groups/organisations/networks within the region. From this database the RNO organisers can start contacting groups within an area or on a subject to see if meetings can be held, for the groups to link.

THE CHANGE IN CIVILIZATION WILL COME FROM WITHIN EACH ONE OF US WHO IS READY TO ADMIT THAT THE THEOSOPHIES WHICH THEY HAVE BEEN TAUGHT SINCE CHILDHOOD MAY BE WRONG OR INCOMPLETE.
THIS IS THE INTERNAL PROCESS WHICH ALLOWS FOR A CLEAR AND OPEN MIND. THIS ALLOWS THE PERSON TO BE ABLE TO LEARN THE TRUTH WITHOUT THE OLD WAYS OF THINKING AND OLD PRJUDICES.
THE EXTERNAL CHANGES WILL PROBABLY COME FROM THE EARTH ITSELF. THE EARTH ,BEING A LIVING PLANET, HAS INITIATED A SORT OF CLEANSING. THE POLLUTION OF THE EARTH AND HUMAN MIND IS THE CAUSE. THE LACK OF " POSITIVE ENERGY " IN OUR AURAL FIELDS SEEMS TO BE CAUSING DISRUPTIONS ON A MUCH LARGER SCALE.
THE WAY TO RE-KINDLE THIS ENERGY IS TO REALIZE THAT WE ARE NOT ON A LONELY QUEST ,BUT THAT WE ARE ALL TRULY RELATED IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD. THESE AND OTHER SPIRITUALLY UPLIFTING LESSONS MAY BE LEARNED FROM ONE OF TWO SOURCES: COMMUNION WITH THE NATURAL WORKS OF THE CREATIVE ENERGY OR BY STUDYING THE BELIEF SYSTEM OF THE NORTH AMERICAN PLAINS INDIANS.
BY UNDERSTANDING THE REALITY OF OUR SPIRITUAL NATURE AND BY STAYING IN TUNE WITH THAT NOTION, WE CAN BECOME " TRIBE EARTH ".

I envision people who can relate to each other authenticly, as they really are. That is, we take off all the masks we're trying to maintain to look good and to protect ourselves, and we let go of all the judgements and categorizations and projections we apply to others.
We need all of us here, we need all the unique pieces of the puzzle that each of us are holding. There's no point in trying to change ourselves to be like everybody else, or to try to lump everybody else into large general categories. We need to perceive our respective uniquenesses, the unique ways that we see things and do things.
If we really want to work together, we need to let go of our tendencies to make ourselves and others something else than what we really are. We can only really plug in with each other if we show ourselves truthfully.
