A few days ago I started getting this strong urge to go to the west end. Yesterday evening, I figured that as I hadn't been in a while, it would be fun to head to one of the bookshops in town and have a browse. As I was also dying to have a pee I couldn't wait to get there.
My bus was caught in traffic and the journey was incredibly slow. At this rate I'll have just enough time to have a pee at the bookshop and then head back home. At a certain point the bus driver announced he wasn't going all the way but terminating at the next stop. Brilliant, just brilliant! He said all buses were terminating at that stop. Oh great! I didn't fancy walking the rest of the way, unless I was planning to pee in my pants. I decided to go to the bookshop round the corner. More >

Our Relationship with All That Is -
Above all else, it seems to me that it is our role as human beings always to join learning to loving-kindness. Learning to learn, learning to love, and to be kind are so closely interconnected and so profoundly interwoven, especially with the sense of touch, it would greatly help toward our rehumanization if we would pay closer attention to the need we all have for tactual experiences. (Ashley Montagu, Touching - The Human Significance of the Skin)
What is mind? Do we have a mind? Where is our mind located? These are some questions for a curious and adventurous human being and perhaps are important questions we can ask our mind during our mediation experience. However, I suggest that once you ask a question, be prepared for an answer by maintaining an open-mind, without any judgment. Accept whatever comes to your 'mind's eye.' In other words, don't censor any thought or observation that appears or arrives in your vision or landscape. Perhaps you may receive a phone call from a distant friend who has something of value to report or announce. A bird may deliver a message to you or your dogs may encourage you to take a walk with them so that you can discover an answer to your questions. Stay open to all possibilities when you are curious and wish to learn more about yourself, your relationships, about your mind or even about your future.
I recall during some of my meditation trainings that there are many forms of meditation and many more techniques that you can use to help your mind become open, accepting, appreciating and allowing for all that exists in our universe and beyond. Today with our Internet, we can add the concept of meditation in a search engine and get more information, assistance and resources than you will have time to explore. Never mind, just be aware or conscious of all of your actions, desires, fears, insecurities, prejudices, concerns and problems. Get to know your/our mind as it includes everything that exists in our universe. We can fill our minds with questions and thoughts or just leave them alone and allow the thoughts to freely pass through on their way to the beyond. These thoughts are like clouds floating in the sky or waves coming into shore. As you observe them, you will discover that our mind is attracted to everything and loves to observe these interactions and relationships.
One of the more important observations and experiences that I have made during the past few months with my meditation practice is that we are all an integral part of Nature. We are not separate from all that is or exists in our universe and beyond. We are connected and united with the whole of all that is. What affects one, affects all. In some instances, and I use this concept only to make a point, as there is No Time in Nature. Our true nature has no time and operates in rhythms and cycles, like Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. As Buckminster Fuller describes, we are all moving through space on Spaceship Earth. Oscar Ichazo reminds us that because we have No Time, there is No Position to be attached to, and without this attachment, there is No Contradiction in Nature. Thus, with awareness and mindfulness of No Time, No Position and No Contradiction, we can experience total Interaction with all that is. All of our 'inhabitants' of fear, ignorance, prejudice, greed, jealousy, impatience, intolerance, etc. can be transcended and we become one with Nature-without judgment.
Furthermore, I have learned that nature is my guide to further knowledge, understanding and appreciation for being human. Every moment and every day will bring new opportunities to engage and interact with God's creation with us as a vital part of the whole.

As I was waiting for the bus this morning, I noticed an ambulance driving by. The ambulance had to abide by the traffic laws because its siren wasn't on; and no cars moved out of its way. More >

Meditation Focus #175
Attaining Symbiosis and Oneness With All Life
Hello!
What follows is the 175th Meditation Focus suggested for the next 4 weeks beginning Sunday, August 26, 2007.
ATTAINING SYMBIOSIS AND ONENESS WITH ALL LIFE
1. Summary
2. Meditation times
3. More information related to this Meditation Focus
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE IN PASSING THIS ON TO OTHERS
1) SUMMARY
As one struggles to make sense of our fast-paced march towards an uncertain future, one has to consider what is undoubtedly a cornerstone of Life on Earth and a key condition for a successful transition to a sustainable and enlightened new way of life on Earth. Science has already understood that without symbiosis, Life simply would have not evolved to the utterly baffling level of complexity and yet enduring balance it has achieved through aeons of evolutionary progress. Not a single species lives in isolation, but all depend on the intricate Web of Life for their sustenance and survival. Obviously, the human species is no exception in this regard. Yet, through ignorance and a sheer disregard for the fragile environment on which we all depends for our continued existence, humanity has managed to render asunder the delicate balance that is vital to Life's continuance& - and that, in the geological equivalent of the blink of an eye. What is missing is a deeply felt sense of our own symbiosis and oneness with all Life, an inner, intuitive knowledge that we are intricately connected with everything else and that if we keep pulling out threads from the Web of Life, it is the entire edifice made of all living things that will unravel and collapse, until all is left is simple organisms from which Life will again patiently build up a new tapestry and create a new symphony over the course of tens of millions of years.
Such an outcome is not what we would consciously choose and yet most humans act as if it was precisely what they want to achieve. Such a legacy to our brief blossoming into a technologically potent and yet psychologically immature civilization would appear to be so utterly irresponsible and shortsighted as to be simply unthinkable. We must surely know better! As the pioneering awakeners and most favored elements of the emerging new Gaian civilization, we have a special and unique role in addressing this situation and fostering a conscious redirection of all of humanity's creativity, daily activities and long term thinking towards a true understanding of our sacred role as caretakers and symbiotic stewards of what's left of the richest, most diverse biosphere ever manifested on this living planet. And one of our most crucial contributions to this process is nurturing and attaining within ourselves the innate sense of our Symbiosis and Oneness with all Life and, in so doing, communicating, through the combined power of our unified soulful awareness, this very knowledge to all our brothers and sisters of the greater human family.
Please, accept to willingly set aside 30 minutes or more of your time for the globally synchronized meditations hence proposed to you this Sunday and the next three Sundays to instill in the hearts and minds of all 6 640 000 000+ people now inhabiting the Earth the clear feeling that All is One, that All is Sacred, and that All That Is lives within and through each one of us in Symbiotic Oneness, for the Highest Good of All.

CARE OR DIE
August 29, 2007
Earth
Wednesday
Evening
CARE OR DIE
Care or die!
I don't think it can be put any more simpler. If we don't care and care enough about the things that need caring for and pretty soon or now, then we and a lot of species will simply die and become the remains of a ruined planet. So unless we have a burning death wish I suppose we better start boning up on our caring muscles. How much time ? Well this was a fairly wacky weather year don't ya figure. I mean unless you're in a cave or on the space station, the weather was pretty.... well .... I mean really why beat that dead horse any more. Are we asleep or awake I suppose is the real question. Do we care or don't we and ...
etc. etc.. It starts with caring and then caring leads to actions and habits and behaviours and then things gradually change.
Care or die?
Care though not because the alternative is death but care because it is the logical and right thing to do and remember once you did care until the pain of love and life sucked that care out of you. Caring is the natural thing we do as humans. Not caring that is not natural. Or kill yourself cause living with out caring is about the same as being dead or half dead anyway.
I care or try too most of the time.
Its tough to care but its mostly the right and natural thing to do.
Don't do it for me though, do it because its the human thing to do.

A MESSAGE OF PEACE,
and a call to help support a new film "The Shift of the Ages!"
~ Aluna Joy Yaxk'in
You can find this article (see below), plus much more on this link:
[link]
On July 8th, Grandfather Alejandro came to speak in Sedona, Arizona along with his wife, Grandmother Elizabeth, as well as a young, rising star film maker, Steve Copeland, acting as writer, director and producer. Their path to produce a film has not been easy. It has required hard work on a limited budget, and doing without creature comforts and luxuries while traveling around the world with Grandfather Alejandro.
I was blessed to see Grandfather Alejandro speak with Grandmother Elizabeth as his translator. It was good to see them both doing so well. Grandfather Alejandro has softened with age. I could feel his open heart and could feel that he knew time was short to get his message out. Because of this, he spoke eloquently and to the point. He confirmed many things and also straightened out many misconceptions.
Grandfather Alejandro had a unify message and shared that we are all brother and sisters, and flowers of the Earth. He said that the Maya prophesies are for all people; not just the Maya. They are for everyone everywhere. Even though the flowers of the earth are different, they all bloom for the Creator. The one SUN shines on all equally, and we all drink the same water, and breathe the same air, and live on the same earth . . . and when we die, we all return to her womb. More >

to make clear where we stand in relation to the other trends in Ifa worldwide, Heloisa and I drafted the following manifest:
Manifest of Hermetic Ifá
Recognizing that every Being in the world is a unique expression of the collective soul of the Universe with an intrinsic value and a special contribution to this world and all its Being therein, we:
- consider the freedom of a person only possible in the absence of dogmas, judgment and prejudice, superstitions and false mysticism, and consider this freedom achievable through the knowledge of oneself and one's relations to the other Beings in the Universe;
- remember that we have spirit, mind, AND soul and that this enables us to perform as witness and actor on the great stage of life;
- work towards the integration of the Human Being, its spirit, soul, and mind, seeing this very integration as the grand scope of the drama of the Universe;
- realize that the premise of "the end justifies the means" was at the root of the downfall of the Great Beings and all major civilizations;
- are aware of the always present danger of a philosophical or social system being turned into a religious cult and thus losing its inner integrity and functionality;
- nevertheless respect the traditional religions as cultural expressions in which many deep truths are embedded even if they are being abused to enslave Beings instead of liberating them;
- strive to distill the truth from the knowledge of the past and use the best of it while avoiding merging paradigms;
- aim at cristalyzing the basic truths of this Universe instead of adding to the complexity of existing thought systems, realizing that the very same basic laws govern all of the Universe;
- do not pretend to know what we do not know for ourselves, do not relay altered or uncertain information as true, do not disclose any truth that would harm and not heal, and do not pretend to converse with the essence of the All (Olodumare);
- do not pressure or coax anyone to be part of any philosophical system, and do not tolerate patriarchical nor any other autoritarian structures, mutulation or punishment, including fasting;
- recognize the three worlds of above, below, and the middle, considering anyone stable in all three of them as a genuine "Trismegistus";
- live as a true friend ("Awo") to all living Beings, as true philosophers ("Friends of Sophia"), the cosmic principle of Odù and its polarities, and as dedicated students of Ifá, the knowledge of Fá which is beyond truths and lies. More >

Review: The Final Freedoms/©free
On the horizon appears an approaching religious [and scientific] furore so contentious, any clash of civilizations may have to wait. On one side,a manuscript titled: The Final Freedoms, against all the gravitas religious tradition can bring to bear.
The first wholly new interpretation for 2000 years of the moral teachings of Jesus the Christ is on the web. It focuses specifically on marriage and human sexuality, overturning all natural law ethics and theory. At stake is the credibility of several thousand years of religious history and moral theology and will undoubtably impact many fields of intellectual inquiry. More >

Over The Rainbow
(Arlen-Harburg)
Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby
Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true
Some day I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemondrops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me
Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then, oh why can't I?
Some day I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemondrops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me
Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then, oh why can't I?

I was compiling Rainbow Warrior site today on the Net, hoping to find enough for everyone here to find their own site among these.
This is (one of ) my favorite/s ( from this link:

Do you know what a rainbow is ??
Yes, a beautiful bow of colors in the sky.
Do you know what a warrior is ??
A warrior is a brave person.
One who has courage instead of being afraid.
Now let me ask you a question.
Do you love animals or hate animals?
Do you love trees or hate trees?
Do you love people or hate people?
Do you love the rainbow or hate the rainbow?
Well, if you love animals and trees, people and
rainbows, then maybe you are a
"Warrior of the Rainbow".
