And maybe it's not finding new pathways, really, but rediscovering the dream paths {link:http://ming.tv/flemming2.php/__show_day/_w2004-09-12|that already exist.} Take a bag of chalk with you to bed next time, maybe. 1 Oct 2004 @ 12:25 by ming : On-On Or maybe a roll of yarn, so I can find the way back. Indeed it might be about exploring pathways more than about trying to figure it all out logically in advance, as we often do when awake. I'm not sure how much it even has to do with the brain. If anything I'd guess the brain is some kind of quantum computer that plugs into different realities, more than that it is a simple storage place. I can't really see how there would be room for everything, if it were merely a matter of storing bits. So I'd rather think it is a filter connected to the bigger reality. Emphasizing certain things and keeping out others. Solidifying certain paths we've been used to traveling. And it seems like we're really traveling many more paths than we might be willing to admit, once we include the sub-conscious and the dream states. Which can all be explored. Plus there are the zillions of paths we haven't travelled. 1 Oct 2004 @ 13:44 by gormzen@get2net.dk @195.82.221.8 : dreams as the primary reality Anyone into dreams as the primary reality could benefit tremendously from reading the classical "Seth" volumes - "Seth speaks", "The nature of personal reality" and many more. Chanelled by the late medium Jane Roberts. They claim to explain directly HOW reality is formed, and connects this to creating your reality through your thoughts and feelings. And connects all this to a new concept of "reincarnation." Complex but highly interesting. 1 Oct 2004 @ 14:09 by ming : Personal Reality I found "Nature of Personal Reality" to provide a marvelous insight into, yes, exactly how reality is formed. It is one of my favorites. And represents a subject I'd really like to do more with. The creation and changing of personal reality. Oh, I've done a good deal with the changing part. But what is so intriguing here is to address it directly. Not just one's thoughts or feelings ABOUT it, but the fabric that reality itself is made of. 2 Dec 2011 @ 20:22 by fiskedavid : The veil One while doing Tai Chi alone on my country property I saw a large group of people waving to me from the other side and indicating to me to come to them. I wish I could have visited and come back. 21 Feb 2016 @ 07:07 by Kalie @188.143.232.32 : JKflEOMFqAykFZdr 21 Feb 2016 @ 10:43 by Ronalee @188.143.232.32 : CJkJOhyEFwQvbse Other entries in Spirituality 31 Jul 2010 @ 16:29: Innovation Yantra 31 Jul 2010 @ 16:01: Randy Paush - Lessons for Life 30 Jul 2010 @ 16:30: from Baudrillard to Verger: Diversification Vs Global Norms 22 Jul 2010 @ 13:16: Cartographers of No Man's Land 22 Jul 2010 @ 02:28: PUNISH BUSH & NEO-CONS FOR WAR CRIMES! 20 Jul 2010 @ 14:24: Getting other people to do stuff 16 Jul 2010 @ 22:57: Considerations on writing 14 Jul 2010 @ 14:53: Therapy Dogs Serve our Wounded Warriors 14 Jul 2010 @ 13:35: Consciousness of Pattern 13 Jul 2010 @ 17:04: What is Consciousness? - My answer on Quora.com
