I remember this SO well !
I was so overcome with awe that I just couldn't utter a single peep ! My eyes must have been 'fixed' open wide all day long as my Mum took me to visit his cave - full of lights and music and little pixies and elves and ...... Magic !
Funnily enough one of the things that I remember the best is the wee handbag ! LOL!
The next day I awoke to find 'MandyLou' sitting in a big box with a ribbon in her hair !
She was the richest chocolate brown - the first black baby doll I'd ever seen !
If I took her by the hand and sort of wiggled it then she'd walk along beside me - turning her head from side to side !
If I laid her on her back she'd cry Mamma and if I sat her up again she'd blink her eyes !
Oh how I loved that dolly !
I kept her safe and sound untill I was ten when I finally gave her to a wee handicapped girl who just fell head over heels in love with her !
I WISH YOU ALL THE HAPPIEST OF HAPPY CHRISTMASES !
