Not in the physical area though. Those standardised educational assesment tests where you fill in the little ovals with a number two pencil. It was found that I'd scored better than 99 percent of the high school seniors in America for reference skills. Which meant, I guess, if you needed someone to look up some info on anything for you, I'd be the guy to do it.

Of course, there was no internet then. I guess that I could be like some pony express guy bragging that he used to get the mail from point A to point B in only 2 days, as the sound of a concorde jet drowns out his voice.

Useless skills.

Yeah, friends used to come to me with questions about all kinds of stuff. Now they go to the internet.

I guess being the "fittest leader" held more cashe in the olden days when the leader actually led his men into battle.
