I even set the camera on the roof, figuring that it was the window distorting the vision, but still.... I think its because its a desk top webcam and its not made to focus more than a few feet away. {LINK:http://www.radioreview.homestead.com/files/homecam.html|LINK} /shameless self promotion. 5 Jun 2005 @ 14:15 by swanny : nice trees yea I think the lenses on those web cams are'nt exactly "precision" It gives a rough idea though thanks *smiles* 5 Jun 2005 @ 15:37 by judih : clarity shift it's all clear in this mind and this mind shifts and what was plain blurs in movement a second of clarity leaves its mark those trees are impressionistic - clear enough considering they're no doubt vibrating... judih 5 Jun 2005 @ 15:44 by swanny : Hi there Yes I guess theres moments... and movement does blur.... I suppose we step like from rock to rock of clarity in the lake or sea of life... hmmmm good metaphor... 5 Jun 2005 @ 15:54 by jmarc : its all one tree if i were to become a "tree hugger" I'd need at least one maybe two more for us to encirle her trunk. She's probably 2wice my age at least. The caterpillars are eating her leaves already though. We'd all like to think our sight is "precision", but we probably all have specialties in what we see clearly. 5 Jun 2005 @ 17:22 by judih : watch the eyes of an artist how does an artist draw? watch the eyes in constant movement - focusing first on one spot then another. How does an artist draw that face so well? The ever changing light and mood demands swift attention and hand ready for action. The breeze changing the silhouette of a tree needs a high speed eye. Perhaps as in most creative work, time slows way down allowing for details to be sketched. Snails pick a leaf of our rose bush and lazily hang out. They have it all - scent, shade and nourishment. If i were a snail eater, i'd have a fragrant feast. (how does this relate? vision on a hot day knows no boundaries) 5 Jun 2005 @ 17:49 by astrid : The Trees are beautiful!... just lovely! They look like Live Oaks. Is that correct? Judih, I like that : "... vision on a hot day knows no boundaries". I might "borrow" that at some point.....
