With the burning Bush in office and the Draft rumored to be comin round the mountain is it any wonder your young, AmeriKKKa, are committing to 'sui-cide?'

Too bad that their innate 'courage' and 'moral sense' has been so bludgeoned out of them that they cannot see alternatives. No, I do'nt mean turning the other cheek either!

As long as you are content to be dogs and cattle your so called leaders (Enslavers) will contimue to exploit and harness you to their own 'evil' ends without sanction.

Of course I do realise how you've been dumbed down and mind controlled through every form of 'mass media' bullshit available to you.

But, in my book, that is really no excuse as you've been warned all along, by citizens like me, who know, that you are being duped...

the proverbal 'lambs lead to the slaughter.' WAKE UP! You won't, though, and that is cause for great sorrow.

Iraq: The Unthinkable Becomes Normal

Edward S. Herman's landmark essay, "The Banality of Evil," has never seemed more apposite. "Doing terrible things in an organised and systematic way rests on 'normalisation'," wrote Herman. "There is usually a division of labour in doing and rationalising the unthinkable, with the direct brutalising and killing done by one set of individuals . . . others working on improving technology (a better crematory gas, a longer burning and more adhesive napalm, bomb fragments that penetrate flesh in hard-to-trace patterns). It is the function of the experts, and the mainstream media, to normalise the unthinkable for the general public."

On Radio 4's Today (6 November), a BBC reporter in Baghdad referred to the coming attack on the city of Fallujah as "dangerous" and "very dangerous" for the Americans. When asked about civilians, he said, reassuringly, that the US marines were "going about with a Tannoy" telling people to get out. He omitted to say that tens of thousands of people would be left in the city. He mentioned in passing the "most intense bombing" of the city with no suggestion of what that meant for people beneath the bombs.

As for the defenders, those Iraqis who resist in a city that heroically defied Saddam Hussein; they were merely "insurgents holed up in the city," as if they were an alien body, a lesser form of life to be "flushed out" (the Guardian): a suitable quarry for "rat-catchers," which is the term another BBC reporter told us the Black Watch use. According to a senior British officer, the Americans view Iraqis as Untermenschen, a term that Hitler used in Mein Kampf to describe Jews, Romanies and Slavs as sub-humans. This is how the Nazi army laid siege to Russian cities, slaughtering combatants and non-combatants alike.

Normalising colonial crimes like the attack on Fallujah requires such racism, linking our imagination to "the other." The thrust of the reporting is that the "insurgents" are led by sinister foreigners of the kind that behead people: for example, by Musab al-Zarqawi, a Jordanian said to be al-Qaeda's "top operative" in Iraq. This is what the Americans say; it is also Blair's latest lie to parliament. Count the times it is parroted at a camera, at us. No irony is noted that the foreigners in Iraq are overwhelmingly American and, by all indications, loathed. These indications come from apparently credible polling organisations, one of which estimates that of 2,700 attacks every month by the resistance, six can be credited to the infamous al-Zarqawi.

In a letter sent on 14 October to Kofi Annan, the Fallujah Shura Council, which administers the city, said: "In Fallujah, [the Americans] have created a new vague target: al-Zarqawi. Almost a year has elapsed since they created this new pretext and whenever they destroy houses, mosques, restaurants, and kill children and women, they said: 'We have launched a successful operation against al-Zarqawi.' The people of Fallujah assure you that this person, if he exists, is not in Fallujah . . . and we have no links to any groups supporting such inhuman behaviour. We appeal to you to urge the UN [to prevent] the new massacre which the Americans and the puppet government are planning to start soon in Fallujah, as well as many parts of the country."

Not a word of this was reported in the mainstream media in Britain and America.

"What does it take to shock them out of their baffling silence?" asked the playwright Ronan Bennett in April after the US marines, in an act of collective vengeance for the killing of four American mercenaries, killed more than 600 people in Fallujah, a figure that was never denied. Then, as now, they used the ferocious firepower of AC-130 gunships and F-16 fighter-bombers and 500lb bombs against slums. They incinerate children; their snipers boast of killing anyone, as snipers did in Sarajevo.

Bennett was referring to the legion of silent Labour backbenchers, with honourable exceptions, and lobotomised junior ministers (remember Chris Mullin?). He might have added those journalists who strain every sinew to protect "our" side, who normalise the unthinkable by not even gesturing at the demonstrable immorality and criminality. Of course, to be shocked by what "we" do is dangerous, because this can lead to a wider understanding of why "we" are there in the first place and of the grief "we" bring not only to Iraq, but to so many parts of the world: that the terrorism of al-Qaeda is puny by comparison with ours.

There is nothing illicit about this cover-up; it happens in daylight. The most striking recent example followed the announcement, on 29 October, by the prestigious scientific journal, the Lancet, of a study estimating that 100,000 Iraqis had died as a result of the Anglo-American invasion. Eighty-four per cent of the deaths were caused by the actions of the Americans and the British, and 95 per cent of these were killed by air attacks and artillery fire, most of whom were women and children.

The editors of the excellent MediaLens observed the rush – no, stampede – to smother this shocking news with "scepticism" and silence. They reported that, by 2 November, the Lancet report had been ignored by the Observer, the Telegraph, the Sunday Telegraph, the Financial Times, the Star, the Sun and many others. The BBC framed the report in terms of the government's "doubts" and Channel 4 News delivered a hatchet job, based on a Downing Street briefing. With one exception, none of the scientists who compiled this rigorously peer-reviewed report was asked to substantiate their work until ten days later when the pro-war Observer published an interview with the editor of the Lancet, slanted so that it appeared he was "answering his critics." David Edwards, a MediaLens editor, asked the researchers to respond to the media criticism; their meticulous demolition can be viewed on the alert for 2 November. None of this was published in the mainstream. Thus, the unthinkable that "we" had engaged in such a slaughter was suppressed – normalised. It is reminiscent of the suppression of the death of more than a million Iraqis, including half a million infants under five, as a result of the Anglo-American-driven embargo.


In contrast, there is no media questioning of the methodology of the Iraqi Special Tribune, which has announced that mass graves contain 300,000 victims of Saddam Hussein. The Special Tribune, a product of the quisling regime in Baghdad, is run by the Americans; respected scientists want nothing to do with it. There is no questioning of what the BBC calls "Iraq's first democratic elections." There is no reporting of how the Americans have assumed control over the electoral process with two decrees passed in June that allow an "electoral commission" in effect to eliminate parties Washington does not like. Time magazine reports that the CIA is buying its preferred candidates, which is how the agency has fixed elections over the world. When or if the elections take place, we will be doused in clichés about the nobility of voting, as America's puppets are "democratically" chosen.

The model for this was the "coverage" of the American presidential election, a blizzard of platitudes normalising the unthinkable: that what happened on 2 November was not democracy in action. With one exception, no one in the flock of pundits flown from London described the circus of Bush and Kerry as the contrivance of fewer than 1 per cent of the population, the ultra-rich and powerful who control and manage a permanent war economy. That the losers were not only the Democrats, but the vast majority of Americans, regardless of whom they voted for, was unmentionable.

No one reported that John Kerry, by contrasting the "war on terror" with Bush's disastrous attack on Iraq, merely exploited public distrust of the invasion to build support for American dominance throughout the world. "I'm not talking about leaving [Iraq]," said Kerry. "I'm talking about winning!" In this way, both he and Bush shifted the agenda even further to the right, so that millions of anti-war Democrats might be persuaded that the US has "the responsibility to finish the job" lest there be "chaos." The issue in the presidential campaign was neither Bush nor Kerry, but a war economy aimed at conquest abroad and economic division at home. The silence on this was comprehensive, both in America and here.

Bush won by invoking, more skillfully than Kerry, the fear of an ill-defined threat. How was he able to normalise this paranoia? Let's look at the recent past. Following the end of the cold war, the American elite – Republican and Democrat – were having great difficulty convincing the public that the billions of dollars spent on the war economy should not be diverted to a "peace dividend." A majority of Americans refused to believe that there was still a "threat" as potent as the red menace. This did not prevent Bill Clinton sending to Congress the biggest "defence" bill in history in support of a Pentagon strategy called "full-spectrum dominance." On 11 September 2001, the threat was given a name: Islam.

Flying into Philadelphia recently, I spotted the Kean congressional report on 11 September from the 9/11 Commission on sale at the bookstalls. "How many do you sell?" I asked. "One or two," was the reply. "It'll disappear soon." Yet, this modest, blue-covered book is a revelation. Like the Butler report in the UK, which detailed all the incriminating evidence of Blair's massaging of intelligence before the invasion of Iraq, then pulled its punches and concluded nobody was responsible, so the Kean report makes excruciatingly clear what really happened, then fails to draw the conclusions that stare it in the face. It is a supreme act of normalising the unthinkable. This is not surprising, as the conclusions are volcanic.

The most important evidence to the 9/11 Commission came from General Ralph Eberhart, commander of the North American Aerospace Defence Command (Norad). "Air force jet fighters could have intercepted hijacked airliners roaring towards the World Trade Center and Pentagon," he said, "if only air traffic controllers had asked for help 13 minutes sooner . . . We would have been able to shoot down all three . . . all four of them."

Why did this not happen?

The Kean report makes clear that "the defence of US aerospace on 9/11 was not conducted in accord with pre-existing training and protocols . . . If a hijack was confirmed, procedures called for the hijack coordinator on duty to contact the Pentagon's National Military Command Center (NMCC) . . . The NMCC would then seek approval from the office of the Secretary of Defence to provide military assistance . . . "

Uniquely, this did not happen. The commission was told by the deputy administrator of the Federal Aviation Authority that there was no reason the procedure was not operating that morning. "For my 30 years of experience . . ." said Monte Belger, "the NMCC was on the net and hearing everything real-time . . . I can tell you I've lived through dozens of hijackings . . . and they were always listening in with everybody else."

But on this occasion, they were not. The Kean report says the NMCC was never informed. Why? Again, uniquely, all lines of communication failed, the commission was told, to America's top military brass. Donald Rumsfeld, secretary of defence, could not be found; and when he finally spoke to Bush an hour and a half later, it was, says the Kean report, "a brief call in which the subject of shoot-down authority was not discussed." As a result, Norad's commanders were "left in the dark about what their mission was."


The report reveals that the only part of a previously fail-safe command system that worked was in the White House where Vice-President Cheney was in effective control that day, and in close touch with the NMCC. Why did he do nothing about the first two hijacked planes? Why was the NMCC, the vital link, silent for the first time in its existence? Kean ostentatiously refuses to address this. Of course, it could be due to the most extraordinary combination of coincidences. Or it could not.

In July 2001, a top secret briefing paper prepared for Bush read: "We [the CIA and FBI] believe that OBL [Osama Bin Laden] will launch a significant terrorist attack against US and/or Israeli interests in the coming weeks. The attack will be spectacular and designed to inflict mass casualties against US facilities or interests. Attack preparations have been made. Attack will occur with little or no warning."

On the afternoon of 11 September, Donald Rumsfeld, having failed to act against those who had just attacked the United States, told his aides to set in motion an attack on Iraq – when the evidence was non-existent. Eighteen months later, the invasion of Iraq, unprovoked and based on lies now documented, took place. This epic crime is the greatest political scandal of our time, the latest chapter in the long 20th-century history of the west's conquests of other lands and their resources. If we allow it to be normalised, if we refuse to question and probe the hidden agendas and unaccountable secret power structures at the heart of "democratic" governments and if we allow the people of Fallujah to be crushed in our name, we surrender both democracy and humanity.

Everyone likes to say, "Hitler did this", and, "Hitler did that". But the truth is Hitler did very little. He was a world class tyrant, but the evil actually done by the Third Reich, from the death camps to WW2 was all done by German citizens who were afraid to question if what they were told by their government was the truth or not, and who because they did not want to admit to themselves that they were afraid to question the government, refused to see the truth behind the Reichstag Fire, refused to see the invasion by Poland was a staged fake, and followed Hitler into national disaster.

The reality is that the American people, as individuals, have lost their courage. The government prefers it that way as a fearful people are easier to rule than a courageous one. But Americans don't wish to lose their self-image of courage. So, when confronted with a situation demanding courage, in the form of a government gone wrong, the American people simply pretend that the situation does not exist.

people, and NOT only of Jews, is hardly nothing ov! And since Hitler, Arafat has been responsible for killing the most Jews and for bringing terrorism, and suicide murderers in the present era. As for Americans having courage - there are plenty of us and more to come.

and I place the emphasis on the first word. I didn't write that last comment, just posted it, and the link is there to the source. It was sitting in a browser window waiting for an article write up but since Vax started this article I thought I would put it here.

Last time I checked six million was 0.1% of the world's population. On a world wide basis I wouldn't doubt if colonialism doesn't take out more than that every week. And Americans make up about five percent of the worlds population so they aren't all that plentiful it just looks that way because they have this bad habit of poking their nose into everybody else's business.

Sorry Vaxen. I shortened that up but it expresses a point on the topic. What is happening right now isn't all that much different than what has been going on for hundreds of years, thousands of years, it's the history of Imperialism. The big difference right now is that with the advanced state of communication we are able to find out about it, and find out about it soon enough that we can stand up to it. The fact that we don't stand up to it is the normalization, the lack of moral courage.

The Germans showed us how fascism takes over our lives and where it leads to. Now it is happening again with the USA and I have to wonder why there is such a denial of it happening. The Germans could be excused by thinking that humans were simply not capable of sinking to this level of barbarity, but that is an excuse which we don't have today, thanks to the Germans. So why are the Americans so reluctant to learn from the German example?

...to what extent we Humans, should try "learn from History" any longer....It's been hard for us before. Seems to be equally hard today...The trap: nonstop arguing, bickering "who did what and why" and similar intellectual traps.Truth be known : We can ALL tap into "dayfresh" LOGIC/cosmic logic, where there's NO exeptions, NO contradictions, always immutable; the same trhough-out ALL Galaxies. That Logic is "God" in us. God's Secret Name is Logos. Logic is written in everyone's Heart as ETHICS, condensed as : "Do Unto Others......" How hard can that be???
We can't change anybody, but ourselves.
A few years back I decided to never be stepped again, or remain submissive; the Classic "Go along to get along"-attitude, eating dirt if someone cicked me. Done with that! I get up fast and I literally ask each an' everone (who dares) "would you like it if I did to you what you just did to me?"
It changed my life(circumstances form nihgt(-mare) to(tolerable) day, getting better all the time as I continue to take charge of ME and MY life; growing in my own INDEPENDENCE; the ONLY place from where I (we) can truly love = accept someone UNCONDTIONALLY, because what they do, does not make a mess of MY life anymore. If all people did this.... guess what!......
It is a deadly fallacy to think that "Social" comes before Individual! "Social" is made up of three to infinite nr of individuals.
The lemmelbrains of today just have to be allowed to follow their lemmelbrain.... to it's final "Destin/y/ation". But the rest of us, having at least an idea about Individuality, HAVE to live up to that. If not, then --Logic has it-- we are not the individuals we thought we were!
How does Snow turn into rain? EVERY SINGLE Snow flake has to transform into water(drops)

It is also called Psychological Warfare and there is a whole hose of new bio electro magnetic 'soft weapons' with which this war against the American people, by the 'Gov,' is being promulgated. This is not the fluff of fiction but the hardcore usage of Electronic mind control tecnologies. GWEN, ever hear of it? Microwaves, ELF, the whole gamut of 'star wars' technology turned against us...total fascism so unbelievable that most people do'nt believe it till it is too late! Please do some research on it and you'll see. Judy Walsh has turned out lots of really good,l well, researched materials, as have many others. Any one familiar with advanced methods of weaponry can tell you. I'll try to do some articles on it though there are forces here at NCN who always try to deny it. Well, they can deny all they want to but just look around you. Ever see the film 'They Live?' The reality is much worse and getting worse all the time.

thankyou but I think your view is a little naive. I do not think you are aware of the extent of the war for the possession of the human mind. You can be totally controlled from a distance DO a little research on the 'neurotelecontroller' as one very small example or microwave stealth towers or stimoceivor or...

The electronic warfare industry has come up with things that would make you blanche. Not to mention the 'bio-chips' industry. It is all 'mind control' which means some one else taking over your thoughts! Psychological warfare and Psychic warfare are horribly real. Do just a little research on these subjects and then tell me about 'will power' 'ethics' and all the lovely little whatnots of humanities present delusions. There is a power that wants this planet and wants to enslave you and yours. And that IS happening right before your eyes everyday of the week 24/7/52. Check it out...

I wonder if that might explain the tinnitus, the ringing is getting louder all the time and I can't remember when it went beyond annoying, but not much a person can do about it.

I still have a hard time in believing that somebody else can implant ideas in your head except through the standard propaganda techniques. Mood control seems like a very realistic form of mind control. Yesterday I picked up the latest CommonGround and read this article on {link:www.commonground.ca/iss/0411160/cg160_MonksMeat.shtml|Sloth} which is one of the deadly sins, and it originally meant (prior to being coopted by the Protestant work ethic) a surrender to despair. Sloth annihilates the will. It isn't so much a laziness as a clinical depression. This article also said that one in four North AMericans is on anti-depressants. A dysfunctional society is profitable, now how sick is that, eh. The following quote I think has relevance to this topic.

"Sloth appears to have been spun into a “deadly spin,” a condition that is both reinforced and “remedied” by hypercapitalism.

An interesting analogy comes from animal behaviour studies, as described in Andrew Solomon’s seminal work on depression, The Noonday Demon. “Learned helplessness occurs when an animal is subjected to a painful stimulus in a situation in which neither fight nor flight is possible. The animal will enter a docile state that greatly resembles human depression.” In experiments on learned helplessness, changes occur in rats’ brains that resemble the neurochemical fingerprint of depression in human brains.

How much of today’s explosion of sloth, in the sense of a loss of vitality and purpose, is the psychocultural manifestation of learned helplessness?"

Who am I to argue about that? I know you are right; there’s a lot of hightech. ways of doing all those bad things: Mindcontrol.
And there’s no Q. in my mind that you wouldn’t know most --if not all-- of them.
Yet, I would ask you, that whenever you yourself tell/ask Mankind to “WAKE UP! We can do it” etc. --I totally hear and feel your sincerity, the very Goodness of your Heart and aching Love for Mankind, but-- WHAT would your TANGIBLE Omega Solution look like, or be, if you were to give actual suggestions to antidote (‘antidote’ used here as an active verb) the Mind Control-Evil?
Would it be much different from my a little naïve idea of enlightement person by person –till Critical Mass is reached?

You know Hermann Goering’s little Speech in Nurenburg, as well as I do. We both know that that manipulation alone can make millions of guys to do all those things you describe in your article….and this all without even being close to HAARP (or other methods that you know more about than I.)
Let us now hear the ULTIMATE SOLUTION of some tangible, doable things we all can start learning/practicing right away to bring forth the Salvation of ourselves/Planet that you have in Mind whenever you ask us to Wake Up.
I really think eurythmics said it best:

I really think that there's a lot of this going on in Mankind's Psyche; the two sides of the same -masochist/sadist- coin. This is why all that you describe in the article is possible to begin with!....
This why so many people don't want to wake up either.

give the dominants their complete trust, and the doms have total control, and the subs get the intensity of experience while at the same time being relieved of the responisbility of having to make the difficult decisions, such as whether the pain is telling them that they are suffering permanent damage. By putting their trust in the dom they are pushed closer to the edge then they would ever venture on their own. Plus, it is impossible to fail as a masochist, I mean all you have to do is let go and scream. I never did understand the S&M thing, and I'm not into it myself, but that was what I read somewhere.

Astrid and ov for your stimulating observations. The first step in overcoming the 'takeover' is to realise that it is going on. I utilise a variety of techinques to get me through it and I'm not saying that I'm 'there' by any means. There is a host of people working on this. Legislature against, making them aware that there are limits that we will 'allow' them in their onslaught upon the human psyche. Passing legislature outlawing the use of such weaponry against civilian populations, for one, indeed I feel that outlawing weapons of mass mind control totally would be a step in the right direction.

As far as the tinnitus is concerned it is something that I have suffered from all my life...I was a target at an early age and involved, even now, in this insidious game. I tend to go 'into' the 'high pitched' energy beams in order to plot them out then deal with them on the etheric or astral planes. The problem with bio-electro-magnetic and radio frequency pulses is that they can come at ELF levels and sub neuronic levels that are virtually impossible to detect.

I think you saw a very extant usage of this technology during this last, so called, election here in the United States. It is multi phasal and comes in a variety of forms. The NAZI's definitely developed the propaganda aspects to the nth degree and were experimenting with drugs, electronics, and so forth as means of persuasion and social engineering.

The so called New World Order is not so new and Mind Control is not new either. If you study Ceremonial Magick, as an example, you will come across ways and means of utilising the forces of nature to control human minds, of social engineering, of total control and the Sciences that utilise bio-electro-magnetic-radio forces in this regard are beholden to the earliest experimenters in this arena called Magickians, Witches, Masters, etc., etc., Certainly if you've studied 'Eastern' or 'Baharati (Indian)' as well as other forms of Magick and Yoga, or Mind Science, Spirituality, and Shamanism you've come across methods of engineering the mind of humanity whether for greater enlightenment or abject evil...i.e., enslavement.

There is a whole industry devoted to this stuff and the weapons are really easily available. As the 'spirit' moves me I'll publish some of the stuff I've found. I do appreciate the knowledge that you have and that you are sharing so please do'nt think that I am looking down at you from some imagined height of all knowingness. This is a real war and I feel that we must alert ourselves and others as well as devise ways and means of protecting ourselves against the enemy in all countries that is utilising these extant and hideous technologies for the enslavement of human kind. Well, I must say that the enslavement is'nt limited to our species alone. And also that we are fighting it!

to make people more aware of “this whole thing”, vaxen, is for someone to start a web-site where people can share their childhood memories about these things happening to them, like the tinnitus…. There must be MILLIONS of us, I am convinced, who has had that since our first years!…Still going….
I have spent my life talking with people about these issues, having been “Their” target at least from my third year on Planet Earth ( I happen to remember myself and the Planet I came from, before I was born here). You’ll be surprized how many people recall, once “allowed”, without fear of ridicule. ( why, do u think I gave my book the name I gave?….though I did not fill my book with own experiencies, just a couple.)

That Mankind, finally has come to the point where we can get some legislature against these manipulations / Evil-doers is great!

When I did my Reiki Initations in Stockholm for Vanja Holmsröm/R-Master, she was the first one who knew what I was talking about far ”above and beyond” my own knowledge and experiencies, with these evil entities, and she shared with me something I wish I had known when I was three.
She told me; ”never be afraid when they come to you. ALL they REALLY want is your Love & Light. They are desperately looking for their own healing, even when they don’t really know it. So instead they THINK that they want power and YOUR Power, because their own Inner channel, as it were, for that power is blocked, like ice, frozen solid. If you give them freely of your Love & Light, from your Christ-Being’ness, that ice will start melting. Just tell them that you are happy to send their way all the Love &Light they want/can handle” this is almost verbatum what she said to me ( plus more), 1984, it was. I have used her ”advice” ever since with great success.
Once I started to practice this, I was finally able and willing to put away my suicide weapon, that I always carried with me where ever I went for a year and a half, the period , when ”this whole Thing” ( these Entities and especially their Allies in our Establishment ) was almost killing me.1980-84
Today these entities are not hostile to me any more. They don’t even care, because I daily send them all the Love & Light they can handle.
While working on healing/changing my own life a few years ago, I realized that could use this same method/statements on humans too... and they do change! Now I am using this same ”technique” on my own every-day reality. Though I still have ways to go, the method does seem to work in this field too!

I just told Ov the other night that is it so much better for us to fight FOR something than AGAINST something ….just like; the more we fear Something, the more we give our Power away to that Something . Just like the more secretive we are about Something, the more we give our Power away to that Secret/evness . Just like Alan Cohen says; “there is Healing when the radiance of Love replaces all our fears.”

very good points you are sharing with us here Astrid. Yes, using love etc., can influence outre, dark mass, entities. You really have to be somewhat adept at it though. For most people an easier path is responsibility and enlightenment. Send those 'entities' responsibility and enlightenment. Of course it goes without saying that your own responsibility and enlightenment have to be stronger than the ones you are targeting! ;)
