Radio still gets to me, though hopefully not quite as thoroughly as the boob tube. Even the music is suspect, having been promoted by the big corps. The new trend of self publishing music on the net is good, and offers some hope, but then we have "Mighty GooGle" that most of us go through to search fo info. We must always be on the watch for where our sources of info come from and what is their agenda? I noticed Vidal mentioned on another blog. I'm reading his historical novel, "Burr". Ever read that? An interesting and alternative view of the founding fathers and their true colours is on display within those pages. See ya. Have been researching the way my mind is affected by 'social networking' sites and hype. Have been making some astounding observations and feel like running away and joining Russel Means and his krewe in the Lakota Dakotas...but, don't kid yourself, 'they,' our so called 'red' brothers are just as friggin mind controlled by consumerism et al as we are. It's literally in the waves, radio frequencies, in which we swim...the bioelectromagnetosphere wherein we get shape shifted or do the shape shifting infinitomorphically according to the warp and weave of beyondoverse... I think you'd enjoy 'Little Brother' as it is well written and about the very subject which is consuming the planetoshpere called Earth at a seeming fantastic rate of 'speed.' I did have some therapy for that too, though it wasn't a very severe case. I admit to being a bit lonely at times, but I buck up and count my blessings. All things change....eventually. Thanks for downloading her books, skookum. It is an amazing story. I'm sure you'll relate to their experiences. I was diagnosed with PTSD, too, as the result of traumas endured during the Vietnam fracas. Then 9 years in the middle east and a few in Russia didn't help matters out that much. Neither did the in and outs from China to China back again around the horn and some time spent in Africa for good measure...a whirlwind tour. The last judge I went up against for my using Mary G as preferred treatment for PTSD was aghast and very sympathetic towards me allowing me to set my own price for the fine. Heh! Of course there is more to the PTSD then meets the eye. Early youth, training, abductions, contact etc., not to mention my very in depth study of Magick and the Occult...and requisite initiations into various 'Orders.' What a life!!! So now I twitter and spend ungawdly amounts of online relative timespace continuum stuff tweaking things like Firefox 3 and FLock 2 beta 1... to usability. It's a challenge since I'm so far out in the sticks and DSL doesn't get here and Sattelite must be 'hacked' (Shhhh!) ;)...
