This is an attempt to re-frame the opposition to alien immigrantion.

RESIDENT ASSOCIATES

Resident associates are those who live in another country in which they do not claim citizenship. A resident associate may acquire property in the other country, may b employed in the other country, may be married to a citizen of the other country, may have financial investments in the other country, etc. but might never seek a change of citizenship.

This framework is offered as an idea for solving the opposition to migrant workers from Mexico into the United States. It is well recognized that the migrant workers are a necessity in US workforce but they are usually labeled as resident aliens. It is important to use a dignified title which recognizes that their real citizenship is still in their country of origin unless they apply for resident citizenship.

Maybe the future will recognize the necessary unity of all peoples and some method of governance will develop without the concept of citizenship in separat3d nation states. I advocate all possible peaceful movement to harmony and equality of all humans of every gender.
