DOES EVIL EXIST?
This may or may not be a true story but it is a nice bit of logic
A university professor challenged his students with this question. "Did
God create everything that exists? A student bravely replied, "Yes, He
did!"
"God created everything?" the professor asked. "Yes, sir," the student
replied.
The professor answered, "If God created everything, then God created
evil, since evil exists. And according to the principal that our works
define who we are, then God is evil." The student became quiet before
such an answer.
The professor was quite pleased with himself, and boasted to the
students that he had proven once more that the faith in God is a myth.
Another student raised his hand and said, "Can I ask you a question,
professor?" "Of course," replied the professor. The student stood up and
asked,"Professor, does cold exist?"
"What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never
been cold?" The students snickered at the young man's question.
The young man replied, "In fact, sir, cold does not exist. According to
the laws of physics, what we consider cold is, in reality, the absence
of heat. Everybody or object is susceptible to study when it has or
transmits energy. Absolute zero (-460 degrees F) is the total absence of
heat. All matter becomes inert and incapable of reaction at that
temperature. Cold does not exist. We have created this word to describe
how we feel if we have no heat."
The student continued. "Professor, does darkness exist?" The professor
responded,"Of course it does."
The student replied, "Once again you are wrong, sir. Darkness does not
exist either. Darkness is, in reality, the absence of light. We can
study light, but not darkness. In fact, we can use Newton's prism to
break white light into many colors and study the various wave lengths of
each color. You cannot measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break
into a world of darkness and illuminate it. How can you know how dark a
certain space is? You measure the amount of light present. Isn't this
correct? Darkness is a term used by man to describe what happens when
there is no light present."
Finally, the young man asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?" Now
uncertain, the professor responded, "Of course, as I have already said.
We see it everyday. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to
man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the
world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil."
To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist, sir, or at least it
does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is
just like darkness and cold -- a word that man has created to describe
the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is not like faith, or
love, that exist just as does light and heat. Evil is the result of what
happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like
the cold that comes when there is no heat, or the darkness that comes
when there is no light."

There is no one, single, entity called 'Al Qaeda' in all of the Arabic world! This is a fantasy pushed by the 'Justice Department' in their endless creation of enemies and terrorists 'out there,' 'over there,' and so forth which enables them to 'hoodwink' the general public into giving them, and their cronies in other 'departments,' fantastic amounts of their hard earned bucks so that insiders 'in the know' can invest in burning buildings such as the twin towers.
Also enables them to cover up their part in the crimes they commit, daily, in the name of the 'ficticious' "people!" Interesting that all the scrap from the 'Twin Towers' was very quickly sold to Japan, is'nt it? That is to say before any 'forensic team' had a chance to investigate it! The dumb bastards that go by the name of 'we the people' in this nation are so used to being lyed to and so very well trained in the discourse of non belief that they believe anything their masters tell them. Although I agree we must have peace and love in our hearts and spread this consciousness out to the planet, via vibration, words, articles, radio stations, tv etc, very little to nothing will change if we don’t get to the bottom line or cause of these issues.
As long as we don’t see everyone (and I do mean everyone) as consciousness/souls in bodies and that we are all connected via this energy/intent, then there will not be peace and respect on or for the earth.
If we have a “them” and “us” attitude, therefore believing/feeling we have the “right” to land, and feel/believe we are “justified” to shove people out, take over their country or bomb them, then how can there ever be peace?
If we allow lies to rule our government,(and other governments) in any way shape or form, then how can there ever be peace?
If our very lifestyles demand more of the earth then it can handle, and we constantly need/desire it’s resources/life blood just to support our lifestyles, how can there be peace?
Yes this is a beautiful planet, and the high vibration of love is a potential that exists for all of us, but words won’t do it folks, we HAVE to reflect this in every way.
Allow lies, ego/power struggles etc to run the day, then it matters not how much you “speak” of love and peace, you won’t get it, maintain it, and spread it out to the planet. If your actions don’t reflect it, then your intentions are NOT what you think they are. Action follows intention, in everything.
If you really have the intention for a better planet, peace, love and highest benefit to be the norm, then this has to be reflected in your actions also.
You can’t say you want peace, then support a government that demands war. You can’t say you want peace, and live a wasteful lifestyle.
You can’t say you want peace and see people as separate and/or evil.
This is pure and simple. No matter how many sweet, acceptable, loving, pseudo-positive you “sound”, nothing will change if one’s actions and intentions don’t change.
This is not negative, it just is. One gets so accustomed to the low vibe, the lies, the downward spiral that one doesn’t even notice it anymore and actually believes that by keeping their “attitude” positive, things will change. The Universe doesn’t work in such a way, how can the human species progress and evolve in this way?
Can you imagine if the law of gravity only said in words that it will be a force that keeps your feet on the ground, but in truth some people float and some people don’t? It is through the action of gravity that makes it true and real, not just the belief in it. This is how Natural Laws work, and this is how Spiritual Laws work and this is the Truth.
It is believed that we all have the right to our “opinions” and lifestyles. Free will is the name of the “game”. Yes, we have the right, but then we also have to take responsibility for the consequences of this free will. You want to vote, pay taxes, believe lies, support one side/country in war, etc then do it, but accept the responsibility that you are also part of the cause for it. You are just as complicit as any government official.
So go ahead spread love and peace via words, “positive attitude”, not seeing the truth of the world situation etc, but also take responsibility for your actions. Your soul knows this, but your mind/ego fights it to the core. Again, this is pure and simple. The way things are going, NOTHING or very little will change. More >

Is it really happening ? I for one think that it is !
There’s a whole lot of bad stuff going on in the world today – it’s easy to get caught up in it all – it’s easy to think that the world and the people in it are going down the toilet !
It’s difficult to step back a bit and try to look at it as a whole and try to put the whole picture into a clearer perspective. But that is what we have to do if we don’t want to be submerged and overwhelmed with fear and lose all hope that things are going to get better. More >

Below is a letter, from an e-mail, from a regular woman who's daughther was held for several days in a containment facility for temporary political prisoners, without access to telephones or legal representation. In New York. A facility run, apparently, by the Republican National Committee. The young lady made the mistake of walking though a park on a day when thousands of protesters were being rounded up and locked away, so that the Republican Convention could, eh, do its thing. Lots more of the kind from indymedia.
At the same time, the NYPD is testing its new long range sound weapon. Well, really it was made for violent mobs in Iraq. But, hey, works great for random people walking on the street in New York too. Some of them might be Democrats.
I'm increasingly glad I now live out here in the free world, in a place where one is allowed to demonstrate, with police protection, and where there are free elections and human rights. More >

Is Kerry really as shallow as he appears to be? He went to Bill Clinton just before the latter went into surgery to ask for campaign strategy advice. Clinton, the darling of the DLC, who has said nothing against this war. (Whereas Gore has been eloquent on the subject.) Who has only mouthed some “third way” mumbo jumbo about the need for enduring patience as our leaders gradually find their way in this post 9/11 world. Yes, Clinton is popular, and if he could go on the stump he would help Kerry. That would be a boost. But Clinton also appears to be totally out of touch. More >
