Look at this clock.... scary enough, it's crowning the front of a world-renowned medical institution...

Modern design or booboo, who can tell?

and when one thinks that it has to be passed by some comittee or other before it was finaly built - yup - scarey indeed !

(no offence taken Jazz - and I'm basically self taught so some mistakes are inevitable ! )

And you're a relatively young man, Max...compared to me. It gets worse---or at least has done for my generation. The blowing off today of spelling and grammar (nothing personal, Scotty) is an indication to me communication has reached a point of take-it-or-leave-it. People now think correctness is too bothersome, when in fact it is a mark of consideration for others. It seems a joy of aging might be to notice an ascendancy of learning and accomplishment in the younger generations...rather than the contemporary view of disintegration of culture and civilization. What's pathetic is most people won't notice the error---or care.

tally ho...

27 Jun 2003 @ 07:46 by jmarc : medical institution, that figures.
I wouldn't set foot in the place. Instead of sticking an I V in your arm, they would probably stick an IX in your arm. Whatever that is.

I don't go near any doctors if I can help it.

The clock on the medical building just goes to prove...
a doctor won't give you the time of day.

wow, jmarc's et alii's responses are causing quite some ripple effects here at ... (name of institution suppressed to protect the guilty).

Rumors are that a research comittee has already been established in order to patent and market IX equipment (whatever that is shall be researched in Phase V of this new project, after all the profits have been divided and trademarks and logos are registered, of course).
