But they reverse in the looking glass... Lately I have been studying the differences between an odu in the outside world (a manifesting quality), and an odu inside a person (an "actual goal". What really got my attention was when I noticed that the outside energy of an inside odu (outside of the inside) is the same as the inside energy of an outside odu (inside of the outside). And it carries forward into the other parts: the inside of the inside is the outside of the outside. In that way, for example, an odu ogbe-tura when it is outside (in the exterior environment) produces the same benefits as the odu otura-ogbe on the inside (as an odu ori inside someone). The converse holds too. Ogbe'tura on the inside causes overwhelm, and so does otura-ogbe out in the environment. The implication of this is fascinating. It implies that a person's most interior aspect is actually outside of them! It's a moebius strip flow: push too far inside and you find yourself outside and vice versa... cheers Ed PS: Been enjoying Gunter's pictures.
