But if I remember his book, Stephen Hawking claims that energy does pass across the event horizon of a black hole by quantum tunneling. I forget which form he said the energy was in, you'd have to look that up. But he claims a black hole would eventually evaporate if not fed. Like most ancient Hindu works, I distrust the translation of this too. Frankly, modern translators -- including (or especially!) supposedly knowledgeable Hindus -- have no fucking idea what the words actually mean. They go to their Sanskrit dictionaries and get wrong meanings. You have only to look at the word "dukkha" to see what horrible alteration has been done to the meanings of what were originally very straightforward words. (dukkha = du[two] + akasha[aware space] or a divided cosnciousness!) This distortion and reinterpretation of words is not limited to only Sanskrit. All languages have this problem. Yoruba words used in Ifa suffer from this, especially the names of orishas and other spirits. English suffers from this too. Did you know that "wife" means "vagina"? The anglosaxon verb "to fuck" is "swive", derived from wife (modern spellings used here, originals are swif and wif). The Spandakarika view of reality is that of Truth, AKA Ofun in Yoruba. Ofun personified in the hindu pantheon is Shiva. The Spandakarika is the root text of the shavite sects in India. Because their text's meaning is unknown by them, their yoga practices are degraded and altered. My advice is to always find out what the words really mean. The way to do that is to look up their roots. For example, most people think "karma" means some sort of automatic and mystical retribution for bad deeds. It doesn't mean that. Karma has its origin in the verb "kri" to act! Karma Yoga was originally the Yoga of action, but of course it has since devolved into the Yoga of what not to do!!!!! The most salient outpoint (among many) is the R6 language of "rootword" and "endword". How fucking dumb do you have to be to not get what these are?
