Continuing
Through the Circle of Days.
The Skull, also the symbol of Death.
Followed by the Deer,
And then the Rabbit.
Next comes the symbol for Water.
Then there is the Dog.

There is a True wealth of information,
That comes through this weblogging site,
Through all of its ins and outs,
And backs and forths, and ups and downs,
And rounds and abouts, and yes,
we really do have some serious disagreements here, don’t we?
Challenging, say what?
Shall we say? What shall we say?
Who has the word that says what needs to be said?

Through the Circle of Days,
In the cycle of twenty,
Five at a Time.
From the top to the Left,
Is the Alligator first,
eating the fish.
Next is Quetzalcoatl,
Feathered-serpent,
Wind, and the planet Venus.
Third is the House.
Fourth is the Lizard, and
Fifth is the Snake.  More >

 Knot of Eternity2 comments

Having found the geometric underpinning
At the heart of the design of the Aztec calendar,
Where Do I go from here?
Here is a geometric symbol from Tibet,
One of the Eight Auspicious religious symbols,
The endless Knot, the Knot of Eternity,
Described on one site as symbolizing
“the unity of all things and the
illusory character of time.”

I’ve expanded it a little.
Don’t know where I’m going with this.
Here is a path.  More >

Listening to the music of Enya right now.
Looking at this picture I drew in early ‘78.
Just look at the black and white lines.
If you look at the Aztec calendar stone
Within the circle of days,
You see a quadrant.
The template for the quadrant
Consists of two rectangles,
Each in the ratio of two to one,
Meeting corner to corner.
In the center is the face of the Sun,
Tonatiuh.
From his open mouth,
His tongue bears the symbol of
The Obsidian sacrificial knife.
The tongue is the Knife.  More >

On the Great Continent Tethys,
The Mother of the Ocean
