Earlier in my log, I wrote a short piece entitled "Richard M. Dolan - UFOs and the National Security State". An interesting entry in Whitley Striebers Unknown Country today entitled "UFO Secrecy & the Death of the American Republic". This article pretty much describes Dolan's views of the decline of the US republic, and the rise of the American Empire.
Here is the Link to the article itself. Note: This is part 1 of 2. Stay tuned...

(7/8/05 Note: I just noted on Nora's newslog page, the link to Panden Jenkins' website at www.palden.co.uk. Thanks Nora)
I finally have gotten around to (almost) finishing the book "Healing the Hurts of Nations", written by Palden Jenkins. The book was recommended to me by someone on NCN, a year-plus ago (thank-you to whoever it was). The book is a heavy read, but a well-written and fascinating one. For anyone seriously interested in peace studies, I highly recommend it. Read More

I just got done reading the article "A Death in New York by Peter Levenda" on Whitley Strieber's website, about the death of Nicole duFresne. I had briefly read about the death earlier, in the morning paper, but I had no idea that she was associated with writing which was related to CIA mind control experiments, etc. Apparently the circumstances of the "robbery attempt" associated with her death are quite strange.
So does Nicole duFresne join the growing ranks of those who have died working to pierce the veil? Does she join John Mack, Eugene Mallove, Sherry Adamak, etc... in the interlife, as one who left us all too early - and perhaps for all the wrong reasons? And is there a hidden danger facing those who dare to ask the wrong questions? Read More

I just sent this, along with a pretty sizeable $$$ contribution, to MoveOn.org. I think it pretty much sums up my view that we need to focus on light, rather than darkness. Read More

I was struck in the last couple of days between the correspondence of recent events, and the passage in the book of Matthew - Mt 24:6-8.
In the NIV Bible this passage reads as follows:
"You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains." Read More

"It has begun..."
-Ambasador Kosh
(On witnessing the destruction of the ship carrying President Luis Santiago - in the Babylon 5 season 1 conclusion: "Chrysalis")
The day after election day was one of what I call the "cellar" days, in which you feel that you are at the bottom of the canyon. I found that on several occasions during that day, I had to fight back tears. A deep blanket of sadness seemed to smother my heart.
I wondered at the road that we have collectively chosen. How could we get it so wrong, yet so many people come to that conclusion at once? And I wondered even more, where will this road take us? And the only answer I could provide was "Into the abyss", Or, to quote the title of Greg Bear's novel of apocalypse, "The Forge of God." Read More

I spent a wonderful weekend going back to my roots - attending a retreat with a Christian group in which I used to be very active. It was very interesting to see how much they, and I, had changed during the years I had been absent. Read More
