If humanity doesn't reduce its global CO2 emmissions and ecofootprints before they reach current levels of now... It will be too late.
Opps too late.
dont say you weren't warned.

climate change death statistics
well taking the 1/100000 probability of a link between climate change and pandemics
and the current death toll for swine flu of 3000
there is a 1/1000000 current global chance of dying from climate change with an upward potential chance of 1/100000 which means climate change has currently killed about 300 people or so and could potentially kill as many as 300000 or more. Whether this is acceptable to global governments is the question whether it is acceptable to the public is another question whether such is acceptable to a court of law is another question whether it was acceptable those that died is probably not likely.
my numbers a probably a bit off so don't necessarily quote me on this, lousy actuarian that i am.

Economic Injustice
In an economic structure where one has to lose for another to gain,
how can there be justice or equity?
Sure there is "value adding" but a lot of times value adding amounts
to environment losing.
Value is not added therefore if it is not a source of global or local
ecological health.
Ideally thus I suppose it should be win win or symbiosis and not win/lose
or lose/lose.
and therefore economies should not be measure as aspects of growth because
on a finite and closed system how can there be true growth.
The measure should be thus of movement and not growth.
And movement in the natural sense goes in cycles and seasons ie winter and fall
slow movement and hibernation and spring and summer more movement.

hmmm this might be interesting
a new modern political party
that seems to know nothing of politics
hmmmm
well that may just be the answer
their platform seems to be based on "sharing is caring"
interesting
link = [link]
but who will pay the bills?
I mean sharing is okay until someone steals your wallet
winters coming folks
