Media = Environment

Whether it is true or a fact or not media in a sense,
in a large sense constitutes a part or influence in and of
environment. The implications of this are many, in that the media and as environment acts in manner unconducive to
health and constructive being at times because it draws its sustance from troubles most oft. The media is aware at times of this its power but its influence is somewhat unpredictable and random even to itself. It is as a multifaceted force raining down blessings and curses in a random and uncontrolled manner.
Is this deliberate or voluntary or perhaps just some kind of inate survival instinct so in a sense psdeuo involuntary is probably not and will not become clear.
At times I have thought the media or worse the paparatzi to be a kind of goul or vulture perhaps some are but we should be aware then that media as environment is a somewhat fickle thing to say the least.

I couldn't help but chuckle at the headline of the paper about balancing growth and taxes. It struck as a kind of can't see the forest for the trees irony.
What is the point of growth then if all it does is increase the tax burden..... What then is this panacea of growth all about. Where is the advantage. True there is probably a ratio and balancing component to it that I think the people are unawares of. Why? Because what is the "magic" ratio or number ? Do you know?
I don't know. Does any one know?
There is Growth, then there is Smart Growth and then there is.... walla " sustainable growth.
Think about it before jumping on the growth bandwagon and consider too the growth life cycles and contingency and rainy day funds as well and supplying good clean healthy water to all this growth
But sorry I digress.

In virtual environments ..... where is or is their .... or can there
be any leadership ....... or is leadership simply a "control"
question or issue..... yet life is complex it seems ....
we can not do "it"?.....????? life.....
we can not do life all by ourselves..... or can we
What is leadership..... anyway....... a model....
a framework ...... hmmmmm or reality.....
perhaps reality makes a good leader.......

An introduction to the science and art of perception management.

The phrase "perception management" is filtering into common use as a synonym for "persuasion." Public relations firms now offer "perception management" as one of their services. Similarly, public officials who are being accused of shading the truth are now frequently charged with engaging in "perception management" when disseminating information to media or to the general public.

Although perception management operations are typically carried out within the international arena between governments, and between governments and citizens, use of perception management techniques have become part of mainstream information management systems in many ways that do not concern military campaigns or government relations with citizenry. Businesses may even contract with other businesses to conduct perception management for them, or they may conduct it in-house with their public relations staff.
