re: cause plant upgrade? 2012
well this seems to be one totally botched and expensive plant upgrade.... and one that should have had surgical precision.... seeing as how it effects human food consumption and health....
i figure they spent round $3.5 million ($1 mil for Alta gov ) to increase hamburger production and ..line speed from 4000 to 5000 cattle a day and at $1000 a head.over 18 day shut down period... that has now cost them about $40 million dollars in lost meat sales alone not including labor and overhead and profit.....as they probably make about $4 million a day there....
.so this has been taken up in nonproductive fat buildup in the cattle on the fields at double grain prices.... so they and their share holders are out about say $20 million or more .....for a botched upgrade and the price will probably just be passed down to the consumer ....who is now paying more for grains cause of the drought in the states that destroyed 18% of the global corn crop..... all tying back to the upgrade that hit at the same time when global warming effects are starting to kick in.......
compounded at the same time as a $60 million dollar cost savings cut (due to the global economic contractions) to the cfia inspect budget...
. wow can you imagine.... how complex thus and interconnected everything is and when you reduce food output systems for efficiencies sake.... to just a few main points how vulnerable the consumer and markets are and is to more similar situations...not upgrades necessarily but odd market and climate forces..
i would recommend an immediate hedge & diversification and adding of downsized food production house otherwise the global climate melt down is going to catch us with our pants and wallets down and hungry
maybe turn fat into some kind of fuel

re: systemic problems 2012
well heard a lady lawyer rattle of the cause of something as "systemic problems" which seems to have become a cliche for not doing something about something.... so why do i say that? well its kind of a non-answer cause it is so general as to be kind of useless.... what does it mean then....well im not a systems analysis but i would say a lot of system problems are the result of poor feed back mechanisms and points and the disconnect and lack of indiscipline between admin and front lines .... which gives a little more to work with as an answer.... of course they should point out that the solution thus if the problem is "systemic" is to do a thorough and competent systems analysis.... and diagnostic.

RE: SPIRITUAL DOCTRINE ON WAR, 2012
Well a spiritual doctrine that espouses, embraces and sanctions warfare, whether Christian, Muslim or other, would not seem to be much of a spiritual (just/loving/sound) doctrine or interpretation of such. Better the civil disobedience of Henry David Thoreau or Mahatma Gandhi than the crusade, jihad or manifest destiny of others.
Rather self defense could stand up as the better and just defense, just as the truth is the absolute defense. But neither such are warfare be it just warfare or otherwise. Such as the prior stand out to be and as something more akin to the true and mysterious nature that is Good/Holy Spirit and God/Allah of the truly faithful here on Earth.

re: life 2012
Life is and must be a good thing, because of the fact and sheer impossibility that it is, exists and continues at all and which thus automatically bestows upon it, its born and innate goodness and good! Life is good.... and thus Good is Life!
Whether we need a hamburger joint, liqueur store or cell ph towers on every corner is another question.

RE: COMPLEX EVOLUTION 2012 EARTH
I wonder what is guiding evolution here on the planet Earth and if the process is more complex than previously thought. Take for instance the evidence of the extinction of some of the super predator species of old, which in itself throws cold water on and goes against the notion of the survival of the fittest.
So thus are there other factors at work perhaps than a simple over arching principle. Factors like the hand of G O D say and intelligent design or pure and random chance and mutations or too as well, powerful environmental forces like climate and weather and galactic collisions.
Rightly enough then, as it is difficult to say at times why some species have survived when they perhaps shouldn't' have and other which should have become extinct haven't but its thus not enough to say survival of the fittest then can account for all such. And of saying to that maybe not God being the outside agency at times but say an occasional deliberate or random encounter with an alien intelligence or species.
So then in the Earths evolutionary process there are likely more factors involved in such and it is a more complex rather than simple thing than previously though and you have therefore as follows a breakdown of the following possible emerging factors
POSSIBLE FACTORS AND PERCENTAGES EFFECTING EARTH LIFE'S EVOLUTION OVER THE LAST 2.4 BILLION YEARS
25% CREATION/BIG BANG/GOD or intelligent design
20% NATURAL SELECTION, SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST
15% ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS. CLIMATE/WEATHER/FLOODING/DROUGHT/DISEASE AND EARTHQUAKES/VOLCANOES/METEOR STRIKES/SOLAR OR GAMMA EVENTS/GALACTIC COLLISIONS
15% RANDOM CHANCE AND MUTATIONS
10% CONSCIOUS EVOLUTION
5% SUPER PREDATOR SELF DESTRUCTION'S
5% ALIEN INTERVENTIONS
5% OTHER
TOTAL = 100%
This thus is probably the case with a 1/75 probability or close to it, as life on Earth is far to complex and diverse to be accounted for by just one of the above factor alone.
