HUMAN ENERGY USE CAP AND FREEZE
July 12, 2010, Earth, Monday, Dawn

In 2008, we, humanity were using about 474 Exajoules of energy per year.
If we humanity, will not and won't at some point cap or freeze our own global energy use and waste
and addiction, then who will and when?
I think thus and then, right now, limiting ourselves humanity, to 474 Exajoules of energy per year right now and here in 2010 and for such per year for the foreseeable future is more than sufficient to live satisfactory and successful lives.
When there is no more, then we just have to do without, that is how it was and how it has always been and perhaps how it always will be.

The Purpose of the Day

The purpose of the day is to meet our needs,
and then our wants,
and then our dreams,
and then I suppose all those vain and useless things we
are at liberty and foolishness to sometimes desire.
And then to rest and behold dawn breaks and we
find and renew our purpose once again.

Who’s the musician?
By Sonnet Mondal
(1990 - ? )

I stood beside the sea

Waves and vastness were no surprise,

Fishermen and ships were obvious,

Sands and shells were not alien,

But what engrossed me

“In a hypnotism of healing

Making me wonder

Whether to cry, laugh or shout aloud

Or run into the vastness…

That made me feel

“Whether the mad was right or

The person was mad…”

Was the heard rhythm and unheard tune-

Unmistakable with a perfect current

And sweetest of all sounds-

Holistic, Healing and profound.

Who’s the tireless musician?

Who’s the composer?

I want to hear more-

I want to dance with the

Dancing sands and pebbles

Till I fall into the black-hole of knowledge.

Nature Today
By Sonnet Mondal

How is Nature today?

How it was in the gone days?

Hath it turned lovelier?

Hath it become fairer?

The question is for you Oh readers?

It is obvious to everyone from little to all elders .

The greenness of the pastures, the serene beauty of mounts-

In this chasing time -for no one to count;

Where's the calmness of the dark?

Where's the song of the lark?

Season's contradiction is no exception,

Whence the whole world is in chaotic direction!

The poets of this day-

Are found to cover only gray concretes;

The rhythms are fast also-

Where's the time to spend behind them and so.

The rivers are flowing wilder,

The sun is shining brighter,

Pleasant landscapes are too hard to come in sight,

The consequences will be for us to bear,

We'd played with Nature's might .

All of us are aware but not at the same time,

Its for us to protect our treasure mine-

Which is so lovely made--

The only round to give us a shade.  More >

An introduction to the science and art of perception management.

The phrase "perception management" is filtering into common use as a synonym for "persuasion." Public relations firms now offer "perception management" as one of their services. Similarly, public officials who are being accused of shading the truth are now frequently charged with engaging in "perception management" when disseminating information to media or to the general public.

Although perception management operations are typically carried out within the international arena between governments, and between governments and citizens, use of perception management techniques have become part of mainstream information management systems in many ways that do not concern military campaigns or government relations with citizenry. Businesses may even contract with other businesses to conduct perception management for them, or they may conduct it in-house with their public relations staff.

  • Perception management is a term originated by the U. S. military. The U. S. Department of Defense (DOD) gives this definition:

Actions to convey and/or deny selected information and indicators to foreign audiences to influence their emotions, motives, and objective reasoning as well as to intelligence systems and leaders at all levels to influence official estimates, ultimately resulting in foreign behaviors and official actions favorable to the originator's objectives. In various ways, perception management combines truth projection, operations security, cover and deception, and psychological operations.
