THE MANDRAKE MECHANISM . . .

The method by which the Federal Reserve creates money out of nothing; the concept of usury as the payment of interest on pretended loans; the true cause of the hidden tax called inflation; the way in which the Fed creates boom-bust cycles.

In the 1940s, there was a comic strip character called Mandrake the Magician. His specialty was creating things out of nothing and, when appropriate, to make them disappear back into that same void. It is fitting, therefore, that the process to be described in this section should be named in his honor.

In the previous chapters, we examined the technique developed by the political and monetary scientists to create money out of nothing for the purpose of lending. This is not an entirely accurate description because it implies that money is created first and then waits for someone to borrow it.

On the other hand, textbooks on banking often state that money is created out of debt. This also is misleading because it implies that debt exists first and then is converted into money. In truth, money is not created until the instant it is borrowed. It is the act of borrowing which causes it to spring into existence. And, incidentally, it is the act of paying off the debt that causes it to vanish. There is no short phrase that perfectly describes that process. So, until one is invented along the way, we shall continue using the phrase "create money out of nothing" and occasionally add "for the purpose of lending" where necessary to further clarify the meaning.

So, let us now . . . see just how far this money/debt-creation process has been carried -- and how it works.

The first fact that needs to be considered is that our money today has no gold or silver behind it whatsoever. The fraction is not 54% nor 15%. It is 0%. It has traveled the path of all previous fractional money in history and already has degenerated into pure fiat money. The fact that most of it is in the form of checkbook balances rather than paper currency is a mere technicality; and the fact that bankers speak about "reserve ratios" is eyewash. The so-called reserves to which they refer are, in fact, Treasury bonds and other certificates of debt.

Our money is "pure fiat" through and through.

The second fact that needs to be clearly understood is that, in spite of the technical jargon and seemingly complicated procedures, the actual mechanism by which the Federal Reserve creates money is quite simple. They do it exactly the same way the goldsmiths of old did except, of course, the goldsmiths were limited by the need to hold some precious metals in reserve, whereas the Fed has no such restriction.  Read More

1871, February 21: Congress Passes an Act to Provide a Government for the District of Columbia, also known as the Act of 1871.

With no constitutional authority to do so, Congress created a separate form of government for the District of Columbia, a ten mile square parcel of land (see, Acts of the Forty-first Congress," Section 34, Session III, chapters 61 and 62).

The act -- passed when the country was weakened and financially depleted in the aftermath of the Civil War -- was a strategic move by foreign interests (international bankers) who were intent upon gaining a stranglehold on the coffers and neck of America. Congress cut a deal with the international bankers (specifically Rothschilds of London) to incur a DEBT to said bankers. Because the bankers were not about to lend money to a floundering nation without serious stipulations, they devised a way to get their foot in the door of the United States.

The Act of 1871 formed a corporation called THE UNITED STATES. The corporation, OWNED by foreign interests, moved in and shoved the original Constitution into a dustbin. With the Act of 1871, the organic Constitution was defaced -- in effect vandalized and sabotaged -- when the title was capitalized and the word "for" was changed to "of" in the title.

THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is the constitution of the incorporated UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. It operates in an economic capacity and has been used to fool the People into thinking it governs the Republic. It does not! Capitalization is NOT insignificant when one is referring to a legal document. This seemingly "minor" alteration has had a major impact on every subsequent generation of Americans. What Congress did by passing the Act of 1871 was create an entirely new document, a constitution for the government of the District of Columbia, an INCORPORATED government. This newly altered Constitution was not intended to benefit the Republic. It benefits only the corporation of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and operates entirely outside the original (organic) Constitution.

Instead of having absolute and unalienable (cannot place a 'lien' against) rights guaranteed under the organic Constitution, we the people now have "relative" rights or privileges. One example is the Sovereign's right to travel, which has now been transformed (under corporate government policy) into a "privilege" that requires citizens to be licensed (Passports). By passing the Act of 1871, Congress committed TREASON against the People who were Sovereign under the grants and decrees of the Declaration of Independence and the organic Constitution. Being a Secured Party to the Constitution when I happened to read a nicely written article, here at NCN, about Bill Clintons' recent ''appearence'' in L.A. I just had to laugh. The article concerned a two hour debacle with another great sheister. Such a bleak house.

I could care less about what the man does in his own free time, and I am not opposed to using the White Lady ,La Pericula, however...

The article paints a picture of the man as being somehow a savior and saint! NOT! How quickly people forget. How easily women are seduced by an outward appearence of elegance though inside there may be a ravening beast.

I've assembled a few reminiscences of that time and Clintons' well recorded cocaine usage, other drugs too, that may open up your eyes, again, to that period of American history which many would like to forget.

Now I wonder in what capacity the controllers are going to use this ''asset,'' again, in the 'White House?' Wink, wink...

Slippery Willie at it again? Oh and then there is 'Hillary,' Marx never had it so good, Rodham Clinton ... a Rose is a Rose is a Rose. Here, then, is the proof...at least a beginning. Do the research. [link]

"The cry is often heard that "we need to return to our roots". If this exhortation is meant as a recipe to save "us" from current faulty social and political practices, it is surely incorrect logically, since it is those very roots which have lead to that current predicament. However, such a "return" is a very worthwhile effort if one does so in order to examine the contents of those roots to determine exactly how they contributed to the problems of the present. Moreover, such a procedure is highly valuable and may even be necessary in order to formulate new ideas - and eventually actions - which will solve the current problems and allow individuals to attain a far superior and more stable ordering of human interactions."

After the Committee of Style finished with the final draft of the Constitution at the Constitutional Convention, George Mason stood up and noted that the new Constitution contained no declaration of the rights of the people, a glaring error in his view. Elbridge Gerry seconded Mason's motion to convene a committee to draft a declaration of rights. But no state voted to convene the committee, and in protest, Gerry and Mason refused to sign the Constitution.

Mason, along with James Madison, had had a heavy hand in the writing of the Virginia Declaration of Rights. This Declaration later became a model for the Bill of Rights Madison wrote as the first twelve proposed amendments to the new United States Constitution.  Read More
