Many years ago an accountant friend told me the numeral four should be written with the two upper legs parallel to each other and not the way I was doing it, with the left leg keeled over to join the right leg at the top.


He added that he was sure I would never be able to change the habit since I had been doing it the incorrect way all my life. He was wrong. In that very moment I began writing the number four in the correct way and since then have not once done it the old way.

Twenty years ago I read an article in a personal finance magazine in which the author said, "If someone is in the habit of bouncing checks they will live their entire life bouncing checks.


The proclivity to write a bad check is a hard-wired character issue and can't be changed." I was a check-bouncer extraordinaire until undergoing an adjustment in insight ten years ago. I haven't bounced a check since that moment.  Read More

From all available evidence * it's clear that the most compelling hypothesis explaining the interconnected crimes, lies, and human slaughter occurring in our modern world is that an international cabal took control of the United States in the early part of the twentieth century and is now methodically destroying American and world institutions and values. The main goal of the cabal has been to consolidate political, economic, and social power in its hands while obliterating the minds of the masses to establish a militaristic, imperialistic dictatorship.

By designating this cabal as "demonic," I do not imply that there is need for hatred, anxiety, or hopelessness. It is simply the situation that this cabal has seized control and we need to face it and get on with the business of overcoming this global cartel and bringing about fundamental change in our society. We should not simply sit about idly theorizing or smiling at the devastation of human beings in our society and throughout the world. Something must be done!

The purpose of this exposé of the cabal is to help American and world citizens see who is controlling events from behind the scenes, to assist in making clear just what kind of demonic forces are bringing about the destruction of American and world values and institutions. It's clear that many people are so conditioned by the current reactionary brainwashing that they will be unable to consider any of these ideas. But some people throughout the world are waking up to what's going on and they need to see behind the curtain to the real, criminal powers that manipulate human minds and destroy human liberties. I've chosen the word "demonic" 1 because it is most descriptive of the nature of this depraved coterie that's seized power illegitimately. They're criminals in that they commit outrages continually. But their misdeeds are more base than that; they are evil and wicked in the truest sense and therefore are best described as demonic.

It is obvious that, on general principles of law and reason, there exists no such thing as a government created by, or resting upon, any consent, compact, or agreement of "the people of the United States" with each other; that the only visible, tangible, responsible government that exists, is that of a few individuals only, who act in concert, and call themselves by the several names of senators, representatives, presidents, judges, marshals, treasurers, collectors, generals, colonels, captains, etc., etc.

On general principles of law and reason, it is of no importance whatever that those few individuals profess to be the agents and representatives of "the people of the United States"; since they can show no credentials from the people themselves; they were never appointed as agents or representatives in any open, authentic manner; they do not themselves know, and have no means of knowing, and cannot prove, who their principals (as they call them) are individually; and consequently cannot, in law or reason, be said to have any principals at all.

Google Tech Talks January 29, 2007 ABSTRACT Everyone wants to improve on Web structure, but few see how stuck it is-- the browser limits what can be seen, and the one-way embedded links limit connectivity. I still want to implement the original hypertext concept from the sixties and seventies.

Politics and paradigms, not possibility, have held it back. Transclusion-based hypertext has great promise, fulfilling (I believe) all the things people want that the Web cannot do. But to build a clean system around transclusion, we do not embed, since that brings inappropriate markup and links to new contexts. Most importantly, we must have editability with persistent addresses-- which means non-breaking stable addresses for every element.

Each new version is distributed as pointers to stabilized content. We do our canonical editing and distribution via EDL (Edit Decision List, a Hollywood concept); thus content addresses never change, and links need not break. This is highly general, not just for text. It directly gives us a universal format for all media and their combinations, including multitrack texts, movies and audio. Naturally, Google can play a key part in all this.

As transclusive formats start deploying (including browser-based transclusive formats), a Google listing of a document can point also to a document's content sources. (To say nothing of other possible roles for Google in transdelivery and brokering.) People accuse me of wanting "perfection." The Workforce Development Plan -- or the Human Resource Development Plan -- is progressing nicely and according to plan. Under Workforce Development, our children will be nothing more than slaves -- worker bees -- in the global workforce unless we all snap out of our stupor.

Meet with your state legislators and wake them up to the fact that they have -- not only the power -- the responsibility to say "NO" to this insanity. Show them that their children too, and their grandchildren will live in the nation -- no -- the WORLD they are helping to create by their blindness and ignorance. The saddest part of all is that our children and grandchildren will not know they are slaves, for it is true that the perfect slave believes he's free.

During the Welfare Reform debates when the subject of children had been raised Congresswoman Pat Schroeder commented, "Our children should not even be part of this conversation. Our children are our greatest natural resource - not oil or coal - our children. Our investment in them today will pay off over and over again in the future. They are the taxpayers of tomorrow." [The use of the word 'investment' should not be taken lightly. In Pennsylvania, the Act was titled Workforce Investment Act. This connotes the expected return on the 'investment' made by the STATE. Return on investment. Think about it. Please, think about it.]
