These 3 days were about research policy - how it is designed in various countries and what the problems and challenges are. The opening keynote by Prof. Michael Zürn from WZB was outstanding and full of deep insights and surprising analogies and metaphors. He Spoke about High Priests and Schamans in the trade of designing science futures. I hope to get his paper any minute, so I can link and cite properly. Also the introduction to teh conference by Prof. Carsten Dreher was very helpful and deep. I will also cite and link details after receipt.
Last day it was about "Strategic Intelligence" and how to "Leave the Nutshell". Visit the recordings, videos, papers, websites. Highly recommended in the field.

Most rewarding was breakfast before the conference and Friday Nights Dinner with Arthur Bienenstock from Stanford. A person with such a depth, humanity, and experience you seldom meet in your life !
With him I discussed the need to revisit PLANNIG and I told him about Hasan Ozbhekan, Jay Stephen Kline, Ralph Siu and why they are important for me and the subject of cultural "progress" or "civilizational survival". I promised him to do a retrospective inquiry in what I feel how Planning and Standardization vs Harmonization, latest on Terminolgy Research Cross-Media Sign-combinations (Superstructures & SuperSigns) should be understood today and what that meens for science policy and genaral public understanding, capcity building, and an appropriate understanding of Pragmatics. see Stachowiak who was first not only around the Berliner Universität (Humboldt University), Free University after the war, but also in Cybernetics, Linguistic, Planning not only of Curricula ... I really feel, a revist of Planning, Systems, Cybernetics, ... kick-startet with the questions raised at this this conference on General Research Policy Planning is quite a fundament, quite an endeavour. So lets going !
