In a previous article called Self-Acceptance, I wrote that I considered the computer screen to be a physical manifestation of my real Self because It accepts whatever I throw at it without condemnation or judgment. Self, like the computer screen, is free of concepts, beliefs, opinions and rules. This is what I'm referring to as emptiness.
In truth, the whole universe is emptiness. It is us humans that try to fill the emptiness with our beliefs, judgments and expectations. Filling the emptiness is an impossible and futile dream however because it is the nature of the Universe to be emptiness. More >

The Lovers of Democracy have a thoughtful website, well worth a look for those interested in the deeper meanings of dialog. Among the articles there I particularly recommend one from 2001 entitled "DIALOGUE AMONG CIVILIZATIONS: WHAT FOR?" by Hernán López-Garay, a professor at the Centro de Investigaciones en Sistemologia Interpretativa, Universidad de Los Andes, Meridia, Venezuela. Dear Friends,
The plan is to build a Unity-and-Diversity Global Assembly from the bottom up, using the internet and a process of voting on messages to involve the hundreds of millions of people who realize that humanity must adopt a global perspective if we and the earth are to thrive. Instead of electing candidates to a global assembly, a hugely expensive undertaking, we will elect messages to represent us in both our unity and our diversity. More >

Just look around you at all the people and imagine what is going on inside each head. Each person, as a detached physical and mental entity, may be very different in opinion and activity but all are conducting, to some degree, a private and perhaps totally secret but essentially similar struggle in the mind. Heiner, your "Dialogues and Conversations" article has put my head in a swirl! It almost makes me feel that if we can actually understand something, anything, that something must therefore be simplistic and not representative of reality. Conversely, since I don't fully understand your article, it really might be on the right track!!! But, kidding aside, it is well to be reminded that things are more complicated than they seem, and multiply that by 7 when dealing with global issues. More >

I am wondering why it seems there is something about
the subconscious involved here. Somewhat that aspects of
the subconscious have evolved or been made manifest in
conscious reality or that the subconscious is different
than it was. Not sure what would be a example though???
Sort of a merger of conscious and subconscious to yield
a synergistic consciousness or noetic consciousness.
and that "this" or "this reality" is the "effect" of the merger.
Examples....
Well take this incongruency...
the landing on the moon and the woodstock 69 art festival...
What kind of conscious or subconscious can mitigate that
divergence.
Well anyway More >

Hi everybody! I've got another poem in Spanish for you. Please feel free to translate it into English if you wish.
Here it goes:
Regreso
Para renacer de nuevo.
