Wow, I am getting an impressive amount of responses to this New
Civilization Network idea. I am a bit swamped right now trying to keep up
with it. I hope not to be a bottleneck in regards to information for too
much longer.
I hope the mailing list will be activated soon also. Some people have
trouble with messages with this many recipients. Close to 60 now.
First order of business is, I think, to get a few teams activated
There seems to be a basis for a discussion of what a "New Civilization
Person" is. I'd like to put that in an ad-hoc discussion group, though. Let
Bob Gebelein <[email protected]> know if you want to be in on that.
And count me in too. We'll discuss it by simply addressing each message to
all who are interested in that discussion.
Next there is an Energy group. A few people responded to that, and anybody
else, just let me know.
A number of you have expertise and knowledge in team building. We obviously
need a group to develop or clarify models and approaches that will make
this whole thing work. Learning Organization and TeamNet principles are
key. I will send a message separately to those I think will want to be in
on that. Let me know if I miss anybody.
More will be coming up, but this is a start, at least.
I just finished reading "Creating a New Civilization" by Alvin Toffler. I
picked it up last week and it was just published. I recommend it very much
and I will be writing more about it when I get a chance. It has a lot to do
with what this is about, and not just because it happens to use the same
term.
I encourage any of you to link up with people here who are in your
geographical area, if any, or for any other reason. The list of people I
