The moment I think I've sorted out something, another th...I have observed that when a part of my body is aching and I try to fix it giving it treatment or using affirmations, another part of my body flares up and I have to turn my attention to that too. The same is true with my personal affairs. The moment I think I've sorted out something, another thing goes wrong and I try to fix that too. There are even some aspects I haven't been able to resolve.
I have also observed the same mechanism at work in the world at large. One part of the world seems to be in order, another part is in chaos; one part is at peace and the other is at war.
I have come to realise that all problems are effects of the one cause - the part mentality consciousness that we have as humans. When you see things in parts or separated from you, it's only natural that you react to life in that manner and want to fix parts.
I believe the only way to win the game of parts is to stop playing. In other words, stop fixing parts, stop resisting parts, stop fighting parts. Simply remember that all is One.
"All is One" is acknowledging that there is only One Love, One Power and One Wisdom that we all are. There are no parts and no separations in the One; all is total and complete.
Another way is to simply be still and have no thoughts. Then I am being the One, Infinite Self that we all are.
Yesterday, I went for a two hour walk via the canal. The weather was lovely and I was really enjoying myself. I also thought it would be fun to walk round a new shopping centre in the area that I'd never been to. I noticed the part of the shopping centre that had cheaper shops was really crowded with shoppers. As I was walking through my head started pounding. The other part of the shopping centre that had designer shops was practically empty. I sat in one of the sofas to rest for a while and chatted to this man beside me. Then I caught the bus home. As I still had the headache, I was tempted to treat the headache, but I decided to leave it alone. I just reminded myself that all is One and stayed in my peace When I woke up this morning there was no headache.
From now on, I'm not going to fix or treat anything. All I am going to do is remember that All is One and let the One be and express His magnificent and wonderful Self however He sees fit, which might either be through me or through others.
All is One.
One Love, One Power, One Wisdom.

I watched a TV documentary last night called Tonight about a family who had been burgled. While the father was fighting for survival with one of the burglars who had a knife, he ended up stabbing the burglar who subsequently died. The man was arrested on suspicion of murder but was later released without charge as the Crown Prosecution Service ruled that he was acting in self defence. See Guardian news report.
The programmed raised the question about how much force someone has to use to defend their family in such a situation. Does the law have to be changed?
I believe as long as we are living in a reality of fear, we all need to do what we can to protect ourselves.
In the world, people protect their family and property with insurance, sophisticated alarm systems, guard dogs or even employ people as guards and bodyguards.
I believe the most effect form of protection is Love and I believe there are three ways this can be achieved.
1. Practise radiating love to all or sending love to all. When you give out love, love is magnified in your experience and that love will keep you and your loved ones safe at all times and keep out "intruders."
2. Acknowledge Love's omnipresence at all times. Then you are automatically under Love's jurisdiction and Love will keep you and your loved ones safe at all times.
3. Realise that there is only One of Us and our nature is love. In other words, we all share the One Self and we all want each other to be happy. Then there is no need to protect yourself from the other part of you as they always want what is best for you anyway.

At first he said no, then he changed his mind and said yes and it did. When he listened to the songs all he kept hearing was "Poker Face" by Lady Gaga. It wa..."I bet you thought you were going gaga," I said to him.
At least something good came out of it, I got a good laugh at my friend's expense. I'm sorry, I just couldn't keep a poker face.
The poor sod now has to reload all his favourite tracks.

For me, the sky represents that which is boundless, free, eternal, limitless, and unchanging; while the clouds represent that which is temporal and constantly changing like one's moods: happy one moment and sad the next.
I have observed that the sky has infinite resources which, when tapped into, can heal, inspire, love, nourish, provide, support, uplift, and so much more. The stories I share on my blogs have been written from the sky's perspective which, I believe, is fun to share.
How do I tap into the sky's infinite resources?
By always identifying myself as the sky and letting the sky work the necessary magic.

How is it possible to continuously do what you love when there are things you sometimes have to do that you don't particularly enjoy?
Easy, just think about what you love. For instance, I recently attended my nephew's confirmation at a Catholic church he's been attending since he was a child. It wasn't something I was looking forward to but I had promised that I would be there to support my older brother and his family.
As much as I appreciate the Scriptures and have even been inspired by the Bible, I can't get emotional over religious icons. Now if the icons were dressed as Klingons or some other alien entities that appear on the sci-fi series Star Trek, that would be a totally different matter as I LOVE Star Trek. I can even relate to a lot of the story lines. I remember how I felt when I attended a Star Trek Exhibition. Being on the bridge was like entering a shrine. That was special.
Back to the confirmation ceremony, where I was feeling like the proverbial fish out of water, I did the only thing I knew to keep me sane - I hummed Michael Jackson's songs. While I was lost in music that I loved, I wasn't bothered about how many times we had to get up and sit down for the different rituals. And the ceremony seemed to whizz by and was finished in no time. The most fun part of the ceremony was when people shake hands and wish each other peace.
My point is there are many ways I can still be true to myself even when I'm doing what I don't like: I can think about what I love; or I can just be in silence.
When I'm being myself/following my heart, ordinary events are transformed into the extraordinary. In other words, when I'm resonating at the Love frequency, life is full of magic and wonder.

That's the price pigeons pay for being in perfect harmony with humans, they start acting stupid and forget they have wings.
Still, it's a lot of fun having pigeons as my friends.

While she was on holidays, she asked me to look after the plant. I decided to name the plant Agnes after the British supermodel Agyness (same pronunciation but different spelling).
Agnes ...One day I was aghast to discover Agnes' leaves had been pruned. I had become so attached to Agnes that I had forgotten she was also a vegetable that makes very good stew. Agnes didn't seem to mind though as she continued to prosper anyway.
As Agnes was getting bigger, my mother decided to move her from the window to sit on top of a cupboard hear the window, which she believed would give her more room to spread her wings. Agnes didn't like that spot at all because she was too near the cooker. She became a shadow of her former self; her leaves looked like they'd been scorched. For a while, it was touch and go and she looked like she was going to wither away. We continued to pour love on her and believe in her. She finally picked up and grew new leaves with singes around the edges.
After my mother had pruned her, the next generation of leaves were also singed. My mother was quite puzzled why Agnes was growing new leaves with singed leaves then I reminded her that it's due to cellular memories. I said even though my cells are continuously being renewed, the memory of old scars have been passed on from one generation to the next; that's why I still have scars from childhood on my body. Similarly, Agnes was passing on the old memories from one generation to the next.
My mother and I continued to love Agnes and encourage her to grow big and strong. The next time mum pruned her leaves, Agnes grew perfect leaves. Mum decided to transfer part of Agnes to a smaller pot. Baby Agnes grew big, strong and perfect leaves just like her mother. We were really proud of Agnes senior and junior.
Agnes has now become a grandmother.
Agnes has taught me a lot about how to let go of old wounds: just love, love, love.
I believe it's up to each individual to determine why they need to get to a certain destination; or why they need to pursue certain dreams. No teacher, guru or master can make that decision for me; only I can really know what's right for me.
A friend I've been communicating with via email told about an animal that appeared in his dream, which he believed was very significant and wanted to know what I thought about it. I told him only he can interpret his dream as only he knows what that particular animal means for him. I could only give him my love and support.
For me, the adage "God helps those who help themselves" means tuning into this ever present Infinite Power. Put another way, ask and you will receive. Another way I tune in is by knowing that the Universe is rooting for me every step of the way in every decision I make. In other words, whatever I'm doing I'm being supported by the All.
Always remember, snow people supporters, that together we stand and divided we melt.

(See Unity Consciousness). In other words, UC is working together for the common go...While I wholeheartedly embrace UC, I am also aware UC is not something you dabble with because it sounds good or makes you look caring. If this principle is not demonstrated in the minutiae of every day experience, it is meaningless.
I can't speak for how people live out this principle, I can only speak for how I am experiencing UC. When I became aware that the entire Universe - not just humans - is working together in all aspects of life, I started to experience life in a totally different way. For instance, as I am writing this piece, I'm aware that I am not working on this alone. In fact the ALL is working with me as the ideas, the computer and Internet resources, the library staff, the blog provider, the clothes I'm wearing, etc. Put another way, while I am the one writing this article, this article is a collective effort. Everything I do is done by the ALL.
I believe UC is so powerful it will topple all beliefs and realities people hold dear. For instance, when politicians talk about having a vision where everyone has adequate health care for all, from the perspective of UC adequate health care is meaningless. Why? Because when you are constantly being supported energetically, you are hardly likely to get sick. Even if you do, you can easily reverse it in the next moment. What need is there for a doctor or medical insurance when you are always in perfect health or can be healed instantly?
Where would doctors be if everyone was either always in radiant health or able to heal themselves?
Where would lawyers and the police be if everyone was living in peace and harmony?
Where would insurance companies be if people no longer lived in fear?
Where would politicians be if everyone realised they already had the power to self-govern?
Where would teachers be if everyone realised they were already connected to all wisdom?
Those who are not ready for UC or believe their livelihood is at stake will fight to maintain that status quo. This is why I believe the pace at which UC unfolds is not collective nor is it one that can be imposed by any leader(s), but an individual unfoldment, which depends on how quickly each individual is ready to let go and trust in the Universe.
