Re: NCN: Community Devt vs Ind Devt

I've been wandering around for quite some time now assumng that future human
development would revolve around the evolution of human communities which
synergized the energies of individuals. But that it was the evolution of the
communities, not the individuals, that would be the key "technology". I've
been assuming that what we know as love would be the "condition" that would
create/allow/sustain this synergy.

This is not to say that the individual member of such a community - say 20
generations in - wouldn't be a far out "new civilization" person. But I only
envision this in the context of community - because the synergy of community
is the only energy source to really power qualitative change in our
civilization.

Now I've been chewing on this for some time. I realize that this forum would
be an ideal place to throw out this idea and see how it flutters. (terribly
mixed metaphor - sorry)

and so as not to clutter up the Email channels for everyone, this might best
be discussed in a separate "special group".

So if you're interested in discussing this, EMail me and I'll keep track of
those who want to join this discussion circle.
