The following is the latest version of the continually updating New
Civilization Model One wants and needs (want ads) list. You can
avail yourself of the want ads on this list if you are a member of New
Civilization Model One, or you can just join up by sending us your
name by e-mail or snail mail. (There is no charge for posting or
responding to an ad.) If you need something Model One can
provide, just respond to that ad that has that item. If you want to
provide something that Model One needs, or any of the Model One
members may need, just send us your ad and we will post it once we
review it for consistency with the Model One mission. Thanks for
your interest.
All transactions/activities are in New-Civilization-Model-One Time
Money credits, except where noted or where state money is also
needed for out-of-pocket expenses (shipping, telephone, copying,
etc.). Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. If you need a Time Money loan
(interest free) let us know. While we prefer to have all trades solely
in Time Money, we realize that during the transition from "old civ"
to "new civ" there may well need to be some mix of Time Money and
state money to make certain trades possible.

Join the ArtCo team that is in the very early stages of writing and

of New Civ Model One concepts and projects.

CIVILIZATION CORPORATION: we are seeking several new
members of the Board of New Civilization, a California non-profit,
public-benefit corporation.
7. PUBLICATIONS PRODUCTION: we need several persons to
help write and publish our numerous publications, both printed and
on cyberspace.
8. NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT: new products for our
various product lines are needed through idea generation and
prototype development. This includes solar devices, health products,
educational materials (including correspondence courses) and many
others in the idea stages.
9. GRANT PROPOSAL WRITERS: we are working on a grant
proposal program, and need several persons to think up good
proposals and take them all the way through to submission to
donors.
10. E-MAIL TEAM SYSOP: if you are proficient on the Internet
with e-mail lists and web pages, we need you to run our cyberspace
operations.
START YOUR OWN "CYBERSPACE" REAL ESTATE
BUSINESS AT HOME IN YOUR SPARE TIME....
SPACECO IS LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO DEVELOP AND
PARTICIPATE IN A JOBS-TRANSITION PROGRAM: The
SpaceCo Division of New Civilization Model One is in the very early
stages of establishing a program to help unemployed and retired
persons, and persons who are not happy with their present jobs.
SpaceCo will give you consulting help to start a real estate business,
and, in turn, you will help SpaceCo obtain donations of real estate.
It is expected that heavy use of the Internet will be employed to
network your services and offerings.
The goal is to help New Civ volunteers move from being dependent
on earning only state money. Participants in this experimental
program would still work to some extent "outside" for $US, but
would also work more and more "inside" SpaceCo for Time Money.
Financial counseling would be available to help reduce the need for
$US. SpaceCo volunteers in this program would be working on
soliciting charitable contributions of real estate. All work would be
done from the volunteer's home, and the real estate involved would
be in the volunteer's home town, or anywhere in the U.S.A. The
volunteer's own related and synergistic $US business will be
providing real estate services, including maintenance and
management.
SpaceCo would comply with the New Civilization Human Way
Company policy of not paying $US salaries to any volunteer, but
would help volunteers get more for their Time Money, give guidance
on how to earn $US and how to reduce the need for $US. Also,
residential and other property would be sought in this program to
give participants a place to live and work.
We are currently exploring the establishment of a relationship with
a major nation-wide real estate brokerage firm that would assist in
the acquisition and sale of donated real estate of any type anywhere
in the U.S.A.

ORGANIC GARDENERS needed to grow vegetables and fruits
organically, on your land or at the New Civilization Model One
Mynda Demonstration site ( 9-1/2 acres ( approximately 3 hectares))
near Ojai, California, U.S.A.
CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERS AND WORKERS needed to help
build the New Civ minimum-code, low-impact, low-cost, two-
bedroom, one-bathroom, easy-to-build, world-wide model house at
the New Civ Mynda site noted above. Our inhouse architect is
currently drawing the plans. Engineering services are needed to
determine the nature of the foundation, so that it is flood resistant,
since most of the land lies in a flood plain. Workers may also opt
for living in the house after it is finished, and acting as site manager,
organic gardener or alternative energy crew member.

ORGANIC HERBS/TEAS are available for one Time Money credit
each. Now in stock: mint, chamomile, calendula, fennel seed, and a
small amount of goldenseal (but you must be careful how you use it).
ORGANICALLY GROWN VEGETABLE AND HERB SEEDS
are available from Bella Terra organic farm near Atlanta, Georgia,
U.S.A. This small farm is operated by our long time members,
Linda and Konrad Stauffer. Supplies are limited. Inquire about the
current seed list, which has some wonderful items on it.

credits plus postage in $US.
"RE-EDUCATING MYSELF... BECOMING A NEW
CIVILIZATION PERSON", a landmark book by Robert Gebelein,
is now available directly from the author at his cost of US$5.75. Bob

DEVELOPMENT OF MATHEMATICAL MODELS OF
FINANCIAL MARKETS AS NETWORKS...a service of Larry
Eisenberg at The Risk Control Company in New York City. This
service is intended to help persons working in money center banks
and other financial institutions who are concerned about systemic
risk and the credit risk of their counter parties. It would also be very
valuable for those who are designing and operating alternative
monetary systems. This service is available for state money, for
possible barter of office space and/or C programming, and, to a very
limited extent, for Time Money. The Time Money service is started
by submitting a brief (maximum of 200 words) abstract of your
alternative currency system for short comment by Larry. Please send

BUSINESS ENGLISH IMPROVEMENT SERVICE (EDITING) is

and he will perform some 50 checks on it, primarily concerning

CORRESPONDENCE COURSES BY E-MAIL AND SNAIL
MAIL
1. ESPERANTO MADE EASY... learn to read and write this
simple universal language, which is widely used by the ecology
movement in Europe and around the world. For instance, "hello" is
"saluto" or "saluton"... "I thank you for..." is "Mi dankas pro...".
2. ENGLISH MADE EASIER... by means of a simple illustrated
text and related lessons. Please tell anyone you know who needs this
course.
3. NAVIGATING THE INFORMATION HIGHWAY FOR
BEGINNERS... on the Los Angeles Free Net and the World Wide
Web and more.
4. HOW TO BECOME A NEW CIVILIZATION PERSON... and
enjoy every minute of it.
These correspondence courses are low pressure processes wherein
you receive a lesson once every 4-6 weeks, and reply in about the
same amount of time. They span at least a year. All participants are
both student and teacher. These are experimental and a lot of fun!
The cost is about one Time Money Credit per month, and you can
earn Time Money credits based on your participation. You pay for
postage, so please send us a self-addressed stamped envelope or an

FINANCIAL BUDGET TRANSITION COUNSELING
AVAILABLE: Explore how to reduce and/or convert some of your
key expenses from state money to Time Money, including your
rent/mortgage payments, transportation, food, insurance,
entertainment, savings, unemployment/retirement fund, clothing,
interest payments, health care, education/learning and all the rest.
Our BankCo Division will help you achieve a greater degree of
independence from the economic "race" of the old civilization. Send
us your current budget in private correspondence, and we will give
you some thoughts on all this. Initial consultation... one Time
Money Credit.
TIME MONEY LOANS are available for those new members who
do not have a Time Money account as yet. (Of course, you can earn
Time Money credits by working on any part of New Civilization
Model One... one hour worked earns one Time Money credit. Work
at home via e-mail, in person, by fax, phone or snail mail as well.)
HELP TEAMS will be assembled to help any of our members in
times of need or crisis of any type. You can be anywhere in the
world, and we will try to help in any way we can. We do this by
putting out a call for the formation of a specific team to help out the
person in need or crisis. We are willing to help anyone in any
situation, but make no promises, since it all depends on where you
are, what you need, and who we can get on your team. This all
includes retired, unemployed, homeless and handicapped persons.
THINK TANK SERVICES are available from the New Civilization
Model One ThinkCo Division. We will take on any non-profit
project that is consistent with the New Civ mission. We want the
client to be part of the think team.

member Jon Stevens, his 40 acre site near Mount Shasta is available
for New Civilization Model One-related projects. Also, the New Civ
corporation's 9-1/2 acre site near Ojai is likewise available. These
are both wilderness sites with no improvements or structures on
them, which makes them ideal for many experiments and projects
that do not harm the land. This could include simple living
arrangements. This will require considerable planning before entry
