The following is the latest version of the continually updating New
Civilization Model One wants and needs (want ads) Trading Board.
You can respond to the want ads on this Trading Board by sending
us your message by e-mail (ao479@lafn.org) or snail mail. (There is
no charge for posting or responding to an ad.) If you need something
Model One can provide, just respond to that ad that has that item.
If you want to provide something that Model One needs, or any of
the Model One members may need, just send us your ad and we will
post it once we review it for consistency with the Model One
mission.
All transactions/activities are in New-Civilization-Model-One Time
Money credits (one hour worked in a New Civ Model One Division
earns you one Time Money credit), except where noted or where
state money is also needed for out-of-pocket expenses (shipping,
telephone, copying, etc.). Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. If you need
a Time Money loan (interest free) let us know. While we prefer to
have all trades solely in Time Money, we realize that during the
transition from "old civ" to "new civ" there may well need to be some
mix of Time Money and state money to make certain trades possible.
If you prefer to buy for $US, the conversion rate is one Time Money
credit equals $10.00.

6. MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF NEW
CIVILIZATION CORPORATION: we are seeking several new
members of the Board of New Civilization, a California non-profit,
public-benefit corporation.
7. PUBLICATIONS PRODUCTION: we need several persons to
help write and publish our numerous publications, both printed and
on cyberspace via our world-wide-web page.
8. NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT: new products for our
various product lines are needed through idea generation and
prototype development. This includes solar devices, health products,
educational materials (including correspondence courses) and many
others in the idea stages.
9. GRANT PROPOSAL WRITERS: we are working on a grant
proposal program, and need several persons to think up good
proposals and take them all the way through to submission to
donors.
10. E-MAIL TEAM SYSOP: if you are proficient on the Internet
with e-mail lists and web pages, we need you to run our cyberspace
operations.
11. TRADING BOARD MANAGER: we need someone to manage
this very Trading Board. You would gather and screen the new ads
between updates, post them on the Board via word processing and
e-mail (and, soon, onto our Home Page on the World Wide Web,
where it will be updated very often), and coordinate with our
BankCo division to work out Time Money and possible mixes of
state money to create the best ad.
12. BANKCO DIVISION MANAGER: if you have always wanted
to be the manager of a bank, this is for you! Actually, our BankCo
Division is much more than a bank... it is more like the Mondragon
bank/consulting organization that helps people succeed in business,
and facilitates trading between members. The Manager would also
prepare the monthly Time Money Accounts Summary. This job
would involve just a few hours a month, unless you want to make
more of it (and there is a lot more that can be done).
START YOUR OWN "CYBERSPACE" REAL ESTATE
BUSINESS AT HOME IN YOUR SPARE TIME....
SPACECO IS LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO DEVELOP AND
PARTICIPATE IN A JOBS-TRANSITION PROGRAM: The
SpaceCo Division of New Civilization Model One is in the very early
stages of establishing a program to help unemployed and retired
persons, and persons who are not happy with their present jobs.
SpaceCo will give you consulting help to start a real estate business,
and, in turn, you will help SpaceCo obtain donations of real estate.
It is expected that heavy use of the Internet will be employed to
network your services and offerings.
The goal is to help New Civ volunteers move from being dependent
on earning only state money. Participants in this experimental
program would still work to some extent "outside" for $US, but
would also work more and more "inside" SpaceCo for Time Money.
Financial counseling would be available to help reduce the need for
$US. SpaceCo volunteers in this program would be working on
soliciting charitable contributions of real estate. All work would be
done from the volunteer's home, and the real estate involved would
be in the volunteer's home town, or anywhere in the U.S.A. The
volunteer's own related and synergistic $US business will be
providing real estate services, including maintenance and
management.
ORGANIC GARDENERS needed to grow vegetables and fruits
organically, on your land or at the New Civilization Model One
Mynda Demonstration site ( 9-1/2 acres ( approximately 3 hectares))
near Ojai, California, U.S.A.
CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERS AND WORKERS needed to help
build the New Civ minimum-code, low-impact, low-cost, two-
bedroom, one-bathroom, easy-to-build, world-wide model house at
the New Civ Mynda site noted above. Our inhouse architect is
currently drawing the plans. Engineering services are needed to
determine the nature of the foundation, so that it is flood resistant,
since most of the land lies in a flood plain. Workers may also opt
for living in the house after it is finished, and acting as site manager,
organic gardener or alternative energy crew member.

MUSE SALON FORMING IN HOUSTON, TEXAS U.S.A.,
NEEDS BOARD MEMBERS: a non-profit corporation is being
formed by one of our members, the purpose of which is to design
and create a "muse salon"... a place that will be a delight of sounds
and sights and aromas, and a sanctuary for those who need to get
away for a bit of time from the old civ and enter the new civ. Board
of Directors members will be paid only in Time Money credits, and
can be located anywhere. Meetings of the Board will take place by
e-mail, snail mail, by telephone, and, if possible, in person.

COMPUTER MODEL BUILDERS NEEDED TO DESIGN AND
PROGRAM A COMPUTER MODEL OF THE NEW
CIVILIZATIONS... This computer modelling project is in the very
early stages. We need system designers as well as computer
programmers. We may have the use of a super computer to run this
model. Inputs and upgrades to this model will be ongoing, and we
hope it will become quite sophisticated as time goes on.
TEAM MEMBERS NEEDED FOR BIOFEEDBACK PRODUCT
DEVELOPMENT....Help develop an exciting new biofeedback
product based on the psychokinetic experiments of Jahn and Dunne.
Expertise is needed in electronics and electronic design, mechanical
design, and product prototyping and packaging. Send a summary of

very simple tools and materials. Included are a solar cooking stove,

VEGETABLE SEEDS are available in test quantities only for

for planting this fall, so get your order in to us before they are used

WORLD TOUR OF NEW CIVILIZATION MANIFESTATIONS...
We are preparing an ideal itinerary for anyone who might want to
take a round-the-world tour of new-civilization places and other
related sites. Your trip would begin in Encino, California USA,
where you would get an initial briefing. Then you would go to Ojai,
California to visit the New Civilization wilderness site and some like-
minded organizations, next perhaps to an organic farm, then to the
Venus Project in Florida, the Christiana community in Copenhagen,
perhaps visit with our green friends in Poland, then on to Auroville
and other stops in India, next to Tokyo to seek out the Japanese
women's co-op, on to Hawaii to input to our computer model in the
making, and back to Encino for a debriefing. This itinerary could be
expanded or reduced, depending on your time and desires. We
would charge a few Time Money credits for this service, but you
would earn quite a few more Time Money credits for your
experiences.
CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS IN A TRAVEL NETWORK.... A
network of people is being created to facilitate travel of like-minded
persons involved in new civilization projects and/or interested in the
concepts in "The Celestine Prophesy". The idea is to have a group
of people who can help with lodging, meals, transportation or
negotiation of such services. Also, if you are planning to travel, we
would like to know where and when you will be on the road, so we

DEVELOPMENT OF MATHEMATICAL MODELS OF

Eisenberg at The Risk Control Company in New York City. This
service is intended to help persons working in money center banks
and other financial institutions who are concerned about systemic
risk and the credit risk of their counter parties. It would also be very
valuable for those who are designing and operating alternative
monetary systems. This service is available for state money, for
possible barter of office space and/or C programming, and, to a very
limited extent, for Time Money.

These New Civ LearnCo Division correspondence courses are low
pressure processes wherein you receive a lesson once every 4-6
weeks, and reply in about the same amount of time. They span at
least a year. All participants are both student and teacher. These
are experimental and a lot of fun! The cost is about one Time
Money Credit per month, and you can earn Time Money credits
based on your participation. You pay for postage, so please send us
a self-addressed stamped envelope or an e-mail message to begin.
CRYSTALLIZING YOUR GOALS...this correspondence course
offered by one of our members is described by her as follows: this
course will "lead you on an in-depth exploration of your conscious
and subconscious. The four-week course utilizes a variety of

REAL ESTATE of all types is needed by New Civilization Model
One anywhere in the world, but especially in Southern California and
the Western United States. We prefer to have real estate donated,
and the donor gets a substantial tax advantage in some cases. Also,
if we do not manage to get enough land donated, we will be willing
to purchase raw wilderness land for from $30.00 to $100.00/acre...
from 200 to 600 acres, with $1,000.00 down payment and
$150.00/month until paid, 7% simple interest, $300.00 closing costs,
and not to exceed $20,000.00 purchase price. The land MUST have
an insurable easement to a public road (that is, it must not be land
locked), and it must be free of toxic waste and any other
environmental problems.

We need all our members to pledge to donate (tax deductible)
$5.00/month to our land fund, to help us increase our small $US
