I want to help grow a participatory democracy from the neighborhood level
upwards. I have facilitated the idealized design of an institution of
communication and community building for my neighborhood, which will include
a newspaper, web site, conversation activities, and complex of services such
as a skills exchange and conflict resolution service. Soon to be
implemented, it will be (continually) designed, owned, governed, and
authored by the whole neighborhood. From this kind of institution - an
"agora" - the sky is the limit. We need to find other neighborhoods, small
towns, or villages who are engaging or wish to engage in endeavors such as
this, so that we can share "best practices" and help each other grow
outwards until we meet up to collaborate as common stakeholders. Priority
for out-reach is, in order: Idaho (our artificially-bounded state); Pacific
Northwest of U.S. and SW Canada (our bioregion); rest of the world. Thanks.

Dear Flemming Funch,
In response to your message yesterday, Thank you. Here is a
project I'm working on, and can use all help offered. We're still
deciding whether to set up an independent non-profit of exist under the
wing of World Game Institute.
Coalition for Universal Sustainable Prosperity (CUSP)
(working title)
"To make the world work for 100% of humanity
in the shortest possible time through spontaneous cooperation
without ecological offense or the disadvantage of everyone." -- R.
Buckminster Fuller
The concept of the World Game or “World Peace Game” was conceived
by renowned architect, philosopher and visionary R. Buckminster Fuller as
a creative problem solving tool for global problems. World Game
Institute (WGI) was founded in 1972 as a tax-exempt non-profit research
and education organization in furtherance of these goals.
In the course of running World Game Workshops, since 1972 WGI
gathered opinions from over 200,000 participants encompassing widely
diverse backgrounds on what they would prefer for our future.
Eliminating redundancies, WGI consolidated these preferences into 18
commonly held, and searched for the most efficient strategies for
attaining the preferred states proven on a regional scale.
Based on these existing programs WGI created an annual budget for
fully implementing these strategies globally over a ten-year period. The
results are displayed in the accompanying chart titled “What The World
Wants” (on WGI's website, located at http://www.worldgame.org/~wgi),
shown as a fraction (less than 30%) of the world’s annual military
budget.
This is a call to join in a coalition of groups, organizations,
and individuals willing to contribute to achieving one or more of these
strategies through advocacy, fundraising, fieldwork, or any other of the
infinitely creative ways that we might use or discover. I believe that
by working together cooperatively, and supporting each other in attaining
specific goals, our intentions to create a more beautiful future become
more and more powerful and effective.
This is also a request for your input on the form that this
coalition will take:
Are there additional goals, strategies, and/or suggested changes
to goals, strategies that you feel would strengthen the overall
cooperative potential?
Can you envision in what ways the coalition might prove most
useful to you in your work?
How might it be organized to maximize the synergystic effects of
working together and lending mutual support?
Other suggestions, title ideas, etc.
The initial work I am prepared to contribute will involve
researching groups already working in the 18 strategy areas of the “What
The World Wants” chart, and/or groups working in other ways toward
compatible goals. I will also begin selectively approaching the
identified groups to assess their interest in participating in such a
coalition.
Thank you in advance for any contribution you feel moved to make
to this work.
Peace,
Ralph Litwin

What I do is possibly unique, at least rare.
I am doing a workshop sponsored by Boeing and the Univ. of North Texas on June
9th. I was invited because of the uniqueness of my work. Gordon (Boeing
employee in charge of employee involvement) indicated that I was way ahead of
the company and the company would not be "ready" for my work for at least
another year. Good news and bad news.
I teach (present ideas) and educate (facilitate them in INDIVIDUATING their
unique hearts desire) individuals to Function Naturally for the purpose of
Living Healthy.
So, my project is working with individuals in their inner world. This is their
true career (life's work).
#1. I am scientific, introverted and exceptionally effective with individuals.
I need some extraverted energy to help promote what I am doing.
I am strongly influenced by Mortimer Adler (chairman of the board of
editors of the Encyclopaedia Britannica) who supports Aristotle's work.
Also, I do my best to live by Carl Rodgers suggestion, "let my direct
experiences be my highest authority".
#2. I need a community of cooperating collaborators.
#3. I need a web page and much help on what to do once this happens.
Thank you for what you have established!
I am wholly in line, in accord with everything yo stand for.
I have done over 5,000 assessments of individuals over the past 10 years in
doing my research in searching for answers to the question, "what is
ultimately, absolutely true?"
I eagerly await hearing from you.
Sincerely
Ron

I like 'serious work' and have a scientific and pedagogical means to
prove theoretically and practically, that our 'work' must become
super-work and it is really possible, when it equals to entertainment
and state of relaxation, which are understood as 'passionately desirable
activity'. As for me and adepts of my doctrine all today's so called
'psychological technique' are derisively not corresponding to the task
of humanization of at least learning-teaching and to the appropriate
level of of using contemporary possibilities for the sake of
spirituality. Too much void rambling around that evidently (albeit for
an actual professional thinker) sacred topic.
I would like to realize some kind of international POST-PSYCHOLOGY (or
Spiritopsychology) project.

I am a builder developer who, for the past ten years, has been working on
putting myself in a position where I can do a major project that is in
keeping with NCN's thinking.
I live in the White Mountain Range of New Hampshire and , as my bio. stated,
am a Reiki practitioner amongst other things. At the moment I am looking at
large parcels of land and talking with people who have the skills that are
required to
help me get the project off the ground. Progress is slow because of a lack
of working capital but I learned not to count on others for financial support.
Although this project has endless possibilies and is breaking new ground, in
this world the #1 sentence in investment is " What's in it for me " not "how
can I help make this world a better place".so I have learned to walk alone.
I will fill you in on more details in the near future.
Sincerely,
Jim Perkins

Our Data Fusion Group is putting together a K-12 non-sectarian curriculum
to be delivered over the Internet. We are building the whole banana from
the technology, machinery, software, and curriculum, and as a private
business will offer this Web-based curriculum to homebound amd
homeschooled students in Phase I, then as a subcontractor to schools in
Phase II wherein we will be meeting all national and state standards of
education, then in Phase III we will look at futuristic applications
such as Accelerated Learning and Virtual Reality (helmet-based 3-D)
Education.
It is an ambitious project, but we have no doubt that we will have many
interested in funding this 4.5 M project start-up... [...] BUT, we are more
concerned about finding the RIGHT
PEOPLE who have the skills, interest, performance and experience
necessary to manifest this "Microsoft of Education" as we call it. We
are aware of the gravity of what we are launching - that we will, in
effect, change the face and base of education forever.
If you know of people who have the resources, interest, performance
capabilities, and experience, please let me know as soon as possible.
