------ NCN TeamNet Report #1 ------
Thanks for the submissions of filled-in questionaires for the NCN TeamNet.
There are 20 entries so far. I list them briefly below. To get the full
information for each one, go to
http://www.newciv.org/ncn/ma/teamlistshow.php3
Some of these groups meet over the Internet, some in specific local areas.
Some are open to new members, some are not.
Next I would like to develop a routine where we can get some kind of
updates from these groups and teams once in a while. I will add forms to
the member area to facilitate this, or I will ask you occasionally, or feel
free to send me an update on your activities if you're the contact for one
of these groups.
I'm sure there are many more groups and teams amongst us, so please send in
some more questionaires when you have a chance.
Again, the point in this is in part to see what we're all doing or
accomplishing, in part to show us what groups we might join or collaborate
with, and in part to figure out how teams might work together when
appropriate.
And, let me stress again, there's no obligation to do anything in being
part of this, other than giving us a bit of information once in a while. It
is about listing what you do and about putting an infrastructure there for
collaboration and communication when it is mutually desirable.
