a few words:

evametaņ ānanda, evametaņ ānanda,
So it is, Anando. So it is, Anando.

mayhampi kho ānanda, pubbeva sambodhā anabhisambuddhassa bodhisattasseva sato etadahosi:
even for me, Anando, before fully awakened, as a not-fully-awakened-Bodhisattva-Being, I thought:

'sādhu nekkhammaņ, sādhu paviveko'ti.
very good is neutralization (of polarity), very good is not-being-mixed.

tassa mayhaņ ānanda nekkhamme cittaņ na pakkhandati
in this way, for me, Anando, the neutralization did not energize my mind

 Perfektions-Angst (TM)5 comments

my personal fear, trademarked, perhaps, hehehe

Perfektions-Angst (TM)

Said the Fool to the Wise Man: why don't you tell me what you are afraid of most, Wise Man? I can see it in your eyes!

Answers the Wise Man: Fool, you can't see yourself! How can you see in my eyes what I don't know?

The Fool: don't you see it, Wise Man, or are you just afraid to see what you witness?

Says the Wise Man: Fool, you do everything to not be perfect. That's how you are always happy!

The Fool: you do everything to be perfect, that's how you are never happy!

The Wise Man: Dear Fool, this is the desire of everything conscious in the world: to become perfect.

The Fool: Wise Man, tell me, in all the time the Universe had to evolve... why didn't it happen yet?

The Wise Man: if something becomes perfect, it has reached its end. Hence, it ceases to exist! Ergo, it cannot be observed!

The Fool: neat trick, Wise Man. But tell me what happens exactly if something is coming close to be perfect? Just this tiny moment before happens what can never happen, what happens?

The Law of the Boredom of Perfection9 comments
picture15 Aug 2005 @ 12:09
Today I realized the dreadful truth of the boredom of perfection!

Anything that seems perfect seems so terrible that it must be immediately displaced with a different, but imperfect paradigm.

Someone with a very bad reputation said once that we would be living in an imperfect Universe. I don't like to admit it but he was right.

From an intellectual perspective, a goal, once achieved, loses its power to exist, hences it ceases to exist. Reversely stated, this is the proof that this Universe is built exclusively on goals.

Someone with a (nearly!) perfect reputation, Gotamo Siddharto, also called the Buddha, stated that "all things are composites, all things are not-persistent, all things are polarities (dukkha), all things are non-self". He should have added "all things are non-perfect". Did he leave out this eternal truth intentionally?

In any case, this Law of the Boredom of Perfection would lead us to the conclusion that all truth, in order to persist, must contain a lie, which brings us back to the man with the terrible reputation (who already said that too).

The Flyin Swans crashed in the Adria, South of Rimini...8 comments
picture12 Jul 2005 @ 09:51
Due to severe easterly winds, the Flyin Swans drifted Eastbound, where else?, before crashing into the Adriatic Sea South of Rimini.

Titanic-like, they continue their performance also on the High Seas.

This little Blog entry is dedicated to all that think I disappeared. I am still around but a little quiet (well, mostly).. hope, this will not be the last picture of me...hmmm  More >

A tremendous performance hi-lighted Max's new interpretation of the Flying Swan (Il volo del ciglio) in Northern Italy, just a bit North of the Scala, the world's most famous theater.

Another 'flying Max' picture, and a very special one.  More >

Julie Jewel reminded me/us of the impending 10th birthday of Newciv..

better than anything else could demonstrate that it's still alive: this BLOG is published on its server...

we experimented a lot with kind of BLOGS those days, 10 years ago... Gunter offered a glimpse on it on his BLOG recently... and I would like to find the 'Daily Insight' (or so) pages... precursors of BLOGs as we know them...

does anyone still have one of the New Civ CD-ROMs??? ..  More >
