After doing a series of lectures on UFO encoutners at a SF convention this weekend, I was approached at different times by people, who described their own experiences. From these, I get a sense of many more experiencers than most of us think.

=====================================================

Over the weekend, I did a series of presentations on UFOs, First Contact, hypnotic regression, etc. at the MarsCon 2003 convention. MarsCon is nominally an SF con, but what I noticed is that many of the folks at SF Cons seem to very likely be CE4 experiencers.

I have theorized this for a long time, but why do I think this now? Because at the close of my Friday evening "UFO 101" lecture - and I've done this talk several years in a row - I've been approached by enough people to get a good count. These are usually very furtive, circumspect, "psst, hey Craig..." type of approaches. And in many cases they are very, very real steps to bring thier experiences into the workaday 3-D world.

One of the reasons I chose SF conventions as a venue was the tendency of many experiencers to focus on SF as a way of dealing with the phenomenon. Thus, my hypothesis was that a much higher percentage of the attendees were anomaly experiencers, then in the general population. And based upon the number of people I talked with over the weekend, I suspect I was right...

According to the Roper Poll of Unexplained Personal Experiences, anomaly experiencers comprise about 1% of the overall population. At SF conventions, I would guesstimate this to be somewhere between 5% and 25%. (At the last MUFON UFO conference, Budd Hopkins once estimated the percentage of experiencers there to be as much as 50%).

In these talks, I have learned that there are usually at least four persons out of a typical twenty-or-so people in the audience, who in one way or another have experienced UFO-related anomalies. And these are just the ones that I know about. On several occasions, this is even higher - and on Friday I estimated that it was about 25% (or more) - based upon the number of people who talked with me after the presentation.

So, how many CE4 experiencers are out there? And what conclusions can we draw from these (very shirtsleeve) observations? I certainly don't know for sure - but I am certain that there are many more experiencers than most people would imagine.

From the responses I have observed during UFO lectures, MUFON meetings, witness interviews, etc. I can attest to the following: The CE4 phenomenon is very wide-ranging. It fully permeates our reality. It is a common and very real thread of events in our present day world. And it is happening to/for a suprisingly large number of people.

craig I find the above information fascinating. I am not sure how to understand the experiences you mention. Please send me some links so I can read more to understand all of this. thanks MM

These are website links which I believe give a solid core view of the CE4 phenomenon:
