Category: Information 4 comments 25 Nov 2003 @ 18:27 by vaxen : interesting bushman...on the hill above the 'tomb of abshalom' i used to meditate every day just outside a little cave which is there. there was also a scraggley little tree that was host to an owl who used to come and keep me company. i've been all over the tomb of abshalom and never saw that inscription but, then, i was'nt looking for it either. there is a way inside the tomb as well which involves climbing to the top and getting in an air-vent which is there in the stone. interesting tale indeed. i lived for awhile in salwan (city of david) just about a block above maayan ha shiluah which is a well, open, where the angels are said to come and stir the waters. very famous place. wadi kidron is a beautiful area and there is so much history there. thanks baba. 25 Nov 2003 @ 18:49 by bushman : Ya :} It was the shadows that made them see it, just like how I was able to read the map carved on the rocks here. Also the way the verse was put on the wall, looks alot like todays graffiti.
