Peace for all nations.

And peace within ourselves.
As we join all dance floors across the world,
let us connect heart to heart.
Through our diversity we recognize Unity.
Through our compassion we recognize Peace.
Our love is the power to transform our world
Let us send it out
NOW..."

GRANDMOTHER DRUM COMES TO EARTHDANCE

The only drum of its kind, the seven foot diameter, crystal inlaid, GrandMother Drum was a vision of indigenous grandmothers and built by many hands of the multicultural Alaskan community in 2000. GrandMother Drum is traveling the world as an international symbol of the Universal Heart that connects all races and all cultures of the human family. Immediately after her birth in 2001, GrandMother Drum was invited to be the very heartbeat of Alaska's largest human rights march, the "We the People" Alaska Native Subsistence March. The project then launched its first “ Ring of Fire” World Tour traveling over 15,000 miles throughout Australia in 2002 and 2003 sharing ing culture, promoting cross-cultural awareness, healing and reconciliation. The GrandMother Drum is a living, beating symbol from the hearts of the grandmothers that we are all one people, that the earth is our one country, that love is stronger than fear and that peace and freedom are the birthrights of all humanity.
