Anywho Heres the latest.... THE ECOMATH & ECONUMBERS ECOMATH Well there seems to be some "presidence" for this term although it is relatively new.... and undefined persae.... I suppose in the grand sense it is consitututes a "globalistic" and environmental approach and "construct" to deal with the the world or earth in a numerical sort of way or fashion. Sounds a bit daunting somehow though and relative or relational. Is there a relationship? Well I suppose there is now. What is it? The relationship or link between the environment and the numbers or math. ECONUMBERS In devising our "scheme" of ecomath it is fundamental that we have a proper set or system of numbering to employ. Fortunately for us, such a system is already existent. It is the line, meridian and point system of longitude and latitude. In this system the equator latitude circle is degree 0, moving in 10 degree increments upwards and downwards or north and south. North is given a + or no sign i.e. + 42 degrees is 42 degrees North and they both resolve with the given prefixes at 90 degrees at the north and south pole. Therefore -90 would represent the south pole latitude and + 90 degrees the north pole in the Arctic. Now as far as the meridians or longitudes go their starting point is centered approximately on Greenwich England. From there they proceed in 15 degree increments east and west. West has a - prefix so -95 would represent 95 degrees west. They both meet again at the international date line which is the 180 degree meridian. So given the following econumbers where would one be? -75 degree Meridian Longitude and +40 degree Latitude = ....... At any rate welcome to the Econumbers.
