THE VOICE OF THE MOUNTAIN

When in the mountains, I hear a song or sound of sorts.
It be neither sad nor sweet, but I savour it for it is akin
to the sound of the sacred Ommmm.

It would seem that this voice of the Giants, is the sound or tone
or very low prolonged echo. Like the ringing echo of a thousand
avalanches gone bye.

It is say, strongest in the valleys where it dost mingle with their
alpine meadows and rushing streams and the delicate and tender
flowers therein and here they do bloom so courageously against
these surrounding majesties.

It is a peace giving resonance, this mountain voice, and would that
all could hear and partake of it, this herald perhaps cousin to the
mighty oceans roar.

Yes its a lovely place
Its the valley of the ten peaks by
Banff Alberta Canada.
Its a scene I painted a few times
and I visited when young.
It very serene and the water is actually
that blue due to minerals in it.
