SPACE REPAIR TODAY
August 3, 2005

First "in transit" space vehicle "repair" happened today!
Space repair, yes I suppose that is significant and it was
watched by millions of people.
A little pressure there.

It is sort of a "signal" of something, a kind of right of passage,
or a vote of confidence or new found ability or capacity of sorts.
And then something more.

Today, a small repair for "Discovery",
A giant repair for Earth.

Like the old Physician Heal Thyself
It has evolved now to

Astronaut Heal/Repair thyself

That is significant.....

Think about it
Its like travelling down the highway at 60 miles
an hour and changing your tire.

Healing a moving object...
Operating on a moving object
Its never been done before.
