Its a biggie
The Project...
"NEW JERUSALEM"
Probably take a couple of centuries
but we'll see...
Probably won't be around to see it finished
but heck maybe I'll have a son or daughter yet.
Anyway heres the rough sketch.
The details ...
well theres about a zillion variables or
well a few anyway.
Got some time to spare?
Not sure how to do this...
Anyway...
I suppose we need a good architect and some engineers
and NASA and whole systems designers and biologists etc
etc..and well...
I suppose I've done my part...
It was tough...
a toughy alright...
anyway I've updated the meadowsweet file
that might help

any way...

chow and carry on

sir swan lake/ed

17 Feb 2006 @ 05:36 by bushman : Hmm
Pretty big, hope it has shields, for meteorites, I can easily imagin what a chunk of 3/4 gravel, traveling at 20,000mph would do to the place. Now maybe because you can see it, and as well I been thinking about finding this thing on Earth as some anciant buried mother ship, with 12 satilite ships, 9 buried in stratigic places on the planet, and 4 cloaked ships in orbit forming a tetrahedron around the planet. Yep, been seeing it in my head for a month now. :}

17 Feb 2006 @ 09:34 by rayon : any public gallery
for this?

17 Feb 2006 @ 11:40 by swanny : Hmmmm?
....

17 Feb 2006 @ 15:40 by swanny : Well Ideas?
....

17 Feb 2006 @ 16:45 by bushman : Hmm
So big it blots out the sun, the earth captured, and imprisoned by man. Mankind is your foundation.

17 Feb 2006 @ 16:54 by swanny : Nope...
Did you read or catch the "Declaration" of
"INTERDEPENDANCE"?

Make it so...

17 Feb 2006 @ 16:58 by swanny : Anyway...
And even if that were the case
It would proper be "Humanekind" not mankind.

but made its "Tridependance"...

hmmmmm

"Tridependance"?????

17 Feb 2006 @ 17:02 by swanny : Tridependence or...
Would it be tridependence or tridependance?

Hmmmm??

I guess tridependance is the noun of it
and tridependence is the adjective.

18 Feb 2006 @ 02:52 by swanny : From New test...
....

18 Feb 2006 @ 13:03 by swanny : Well...
Feb. 18, 2006
Dawn...

Well I've "staked" the sites for the foundation/s...
Yup shes pretty big...
Theres some existing structures available
to perhaps "ground" the foundation too...

Could have used the help to pick the sites...
but I quess yous all busy with other stuff...
Theres about 22 to 26 sites... not quite
sure. I'm no surveyor. Lot variables hey
and shes big... hence the need for help
but oh well.

Lookin not to bad though...
Some spots a bit dark but well...
candles?

sir

18 Feb 2006 @ 13:21 by swanny : Size...
Well near as I can figure
She's about 180 or so miles wide...
3 or 4 stories high max...
and the circumference of the earth around.
Said she was big.

hmmmm okay so what next...??

sir

18 Feb 2006 @ 13:29 by swanny : Global City?
A Global City or a Global Village?

Well I vote for the village perspective myself...

Was that Mccluan or Buckmaster Fuller...

can't recall

Well I suppose it could be a "Global Biotown"...

sir

18 Feb 2006 @ 19:59 by bushman : Hmm
A self healing bioskin, that absorbs solar radiation and converts it to usable power, as well as a secondary magnetic field so as moduals and elements are locked together, but still flexable. This would be better suited for undersea use, but would lose its solar efficancy. The Moon might be the best place, since it's a great platform for launching other missions. And could set up some seriouse solar generation, that can be beamed back to Earth by laser or something. I mean , we have lots of open seas here on the planet, so it should be like a flaoting city out in the wasted space of our oceans. We could easily build something the size of Japan out at sea. I always dreamed of that city they use on the TV show "Stargate Atlantis" seems many people have dreamed of this city over the years, sheilded and capable of submerging for long piriods of time, during big storms, etc. "Humankind" should build green cities in the sea. :}

18 Feb 2006 @ 21:41 by swanny : North America ...
...

22 Feb 2006 @ 15:43 by rayon : very funny,
- put list of books on Meadowsweet, everyone is forgetting sculpture. When commenting above there was not text as yet, preferred the image large, looked like a da Vinci experiment - all the renaissance architects did military architecture, defensive city walls etc, cranking machines

22 Feb 2006 @ 15:58 by swanny : stuckness...
I seem to be stuck in the blender...

Would you mind flicking the off or on switch...

ah whatever...

When it is not fair ...

then it is not "logical" to care...

except to "know" and hold fast for those rare

seldom and cherished moments and seconds

that occur some what randomly from time to time

where fairness appears for brief, warm and shining drops.

Seldom and rare though they may be.

Here in the Canada Alberta...

On Feb 22, 2006 Wednesday morning

cloudy cool and noisy... and stuck...

this Shrine in Iraq that was destroyed...

or is said to have been destroyed...

I think... ????

minds me of my "when mountains die" site

it is sad when buildings die too.

Have they taken this grudge against buildings now too...

Well I wonder what the buildings plan to do about that.
