I suppose its a "start" of sorts and on a relatively good foundation of "Boullee" and Arcadia no less... so thanks for that. So now what....? Well if buildings can talk and feel then I suppose we must learn to communicate with nature/the biostructure as well.... Went for a wonderful walk in the snow to the river yesterday. Just had to get out of these walls... It was so nice and freeing and yes I must have spoken to the nature spirits though they are asleep under the snow but the birds were wingin the merry ways so it was most refreshing and rejuvinating. So now I suppose filling in the details perhaps. ed 28 Feb 2006 @ 16:16 by rayon : Found the reference On a site found today, there is a piece on the Holographic Brain. Apparently if a hologram is cut in half, there will be two WHOLE images each in half. Cut out, there will be more etc. and etc. It is believed that this how the brain works, AND more importantly, it is thought this how we achieve 3 dimensional thought. (Personally, I am not convinced, but it is an extremely interesting notion. Long ago there was a terrific hologram exhibition in Amsterdam I attended, thinking it was the very best thing in the whole of life!)Your image here does have holographic notions. The reason for mentioning it here is because, good architects do draw instinctively in 3 dimensions to illustrate thoughts etc. When seeing your updated 3 D bioworld above, the two came together. And, I worried over the last few days because of failing to mention that the superimposing of two rectangles, of course, was in section NOT in plan, very important distinction. And laughed to see the result tho, ho ho. 28 Feb 2006 @ 16:29 by swanny : hee hee Well it seems I'm thinking somehow in plan and section at the same time... Not sure how or why... But it does produce an interesting effect sort of "stereo vision"... and yet it is not an illusion as it is "architecture" and it is real with I suppose some extrapolations or extensions of heart or thought. 28 Feb 2006 @ 16:42 by swanny : And then again... And then again its more because at the same time one is seeing "through" as though one is looking at an xray and a photo overlapped at the same time. My my what's with that...??? Too much coffee perhaps and yet I find it lovely and ....quite ??? 30 Jul 2006 @ 12:21 by U.
