Hemp is a long fiber like Jute and Kenaf, but are finer fibers that can be used in clothing or textile. But, jute and kenaf are used as industrial fibers to manufacture sacks, non-wearable fabrics (Burlap/Hessian), Non-woven items, and composite items for furniture and bedding. Do you know why, because the Lignin content (woody stuff) of Jute and Kenaf are higher than Hemp. But, the lignin content is in marginal level. Therefore, by reducing the lignin content, you can also use Jute and Kenaf in wearable textile manufacturing. And do you know what is the next vegetable fiber after cotton? Otherwise, you may be caught by the Police. But, Jute and Kenaf has no such narcotic elements. Due to very high tensile strength, Jute and Kanaf are the best natural substitute for Nylon or Polypropylene. Like hemp, jute also has medicinal value. The history of Jute says that, its leaves were being used by the Ancient Arabians as Dried Powder called "Nalita" for a popular pot-herb called "Molokhiya". Some researches says that, jute leaves can be used as anti-oxidents and physical toxicity reducer (like Arsenic contamination).
