The Iraq Solution May 14, 2006 Canada Sunday
Someone has observed that perhaps the reason for wars and killing
is that on the contrary such presents a very logical and rational choice as a means to progress opposing political, religious, geopolitical, ideological and other stances.
That the finality of death, war and such though disturbing is a logical though
unfortunate reality and hence solution. The idea of preemptive war is just
then perhaps an imagined extension of this logic.
Here is my response to that keen insight.

Yes perhaps that is the situation and so do you suggest that rather than be rational
and logical that nations demonstrate some love or....??? irrationalness or a
superior sort of reason? other than the logic of death and war? Well an interesting
point. So we should thus tell our leaders not to be logical and rational and be....???
don't know how good that would go over though.
Well it certainly wouldn't work unless both or all sides agreed to be equally illogical
or irrational or loving then.... but hmmmm interesting....
if you could get both or all sides to do and commit to that then it just might work.....
but I'd say we'd have our work cut out for us to make that happen.
Well though too who could broker such a deal though? Who would dare suggest
something so..... illogical? Who could get away with something so ..???? bizarre....
Homer Simpson of course.... hee hee cool well perhaps not
maybe Lisa Simpson.... or Marge Simpson but ....????????
Actually despite how ridiculous it sounds I think it would work and it is the only
semi-logical solution that I have heard since 2003 or since 911 that I think
even has a chance of working .... so good on us all. Strange as it seems it has at least
some promise and hope. Well done
