A "FIXED GLOBALITY"
The End of Global Growth.
I wonder, we seem as a fairly successful species to proceed as if there is unlimited potential on and of earth. But the truth is that the earth is a "fixed property" or a "fixed globality." Fortuneately or unfortuneately we were saved from the potential of global culling from the arms race. But now we're back on track of overcoming and overwhelming the earths resources and means and headed toward overpopluation and overdevelopment.
There is though the consideration that the comfort, standard and quality of life in north america is not the norm for the planet and not that it is totally without fault either.
So we have to get it through our heads that the earth is not growing in keeping with our cities and such and that perhaps maintaining even the North american status quo with grow more and more difficult for the future generations.
We will thus have to learn to be satisfied with our more or less fixed income and globality.
