The Positive Network FreeAway Service!
Red Kite ©John DavisDon’t throw it away.. FREE IT AWAY! If you think it’s destined for the skip, it could be useful to someone else. Tell others about it through our free service, and make it easier by including a photo too. This service is FREE.
For companies – if you have waste that could be used by someone, advertise it here FREE. Together we can make the best use of our resources, closing the circle as far as we can. Lets leave less mess for our grandchildren to live with.
Examples: wood waste, cloth, compostable materials, straw, etc. – there are many things thrown away every day that could be made use of by others as well as the obvious things that we don’t need any more, like tables, chairs and cupboards (often perfectly usable but thrown out because its easier than trying to find a new home).
RECYCLE - REUSE -LESS WASTE-LESS ENERGY-SAVE MONEY
We can make a difference to our future.
Making thoughtful choices is all it takes.

Ya, this is a cool idea, I know it works localy if someone donates space for storage, like we have a "trade it" shop, basicly you bring something your done with, and take something you need. Networking it with others at that site would maybe be pretty cool. Out here scrap lumber is usualy picked up by someone who needs a fire. But some of the problem with recycling at construction sites is that the general contractor dosnt want to have to hire someone to seperate it out, although, most your plumbers deffinetly take thier own copperscraps in or store them for use as needed. So maybe pushing some sort of work ethic within the subcontractors and workers to do as the plumbers do and keep a buket handy to toss thier scraps in. Or open up a part time min wage job for some kid, you know pick up the bent nails and what little wood scraps and whatever, and put them in some sort of bin that can be picked up by the recycler. Maybe even come up with a company that accualy does that sort of thing at the dump, cause out here they just get a huge pull off bin, and cram everything in it and then it just gets dumped into a great big hole, might make oil and methane one day, and lots of rusty dirt, lol. :} Oh ya, you need to go thru the artical and put some brackets around your links, brakets like the one in my smile.

...to put brackets around the links! I will do so. Thanks! : )
I couldn't agree with you more! Why this way of re-using perfectly good Material from -for instance- construction sites, is absolutely beyound me!
All these different suggestions for improving Sustainable Living/Lifestyle are so 100% accurate -and desperately needed to put into Every-day Practice by every community; big or small Town or City doesn't matter. All should get into this! Thanks Bushy, for your input!
