The news in brief
Well it's friday october 20, 2006 as I write this report.
The planet is rotating and the northern hemisphere is going into winter.
Someone probably got murdered somewhere.
Some couple probably got married some where.
A few babies are being born.
Some old folks are dying.
Governments are governing somewhat but no one knows what to do
about global warming yet and about the nuculear debate.
Some trees are losing their leaves in the Northern Hemisphere.
People are eating, raising crops. making things, having sex, spending money,
buying things, dying.
The weather continues to do what it will.
Earthquakes are happening now and then.
Meteors are falling now and then.
Sometimes you can see falling stars at night.
The markets continue to go up and down.
Housing prices in the the western hemisphere are somewhat up.
The earth's resources continue to be exploited.
Humanity still doesn't know what to do with its trash.
The family as a unit still exists but is under fire.
Churches continue to preach.
In sports some teams won, some teams lost and some teams tied.
The space shuttle and space station and some satellites continue to
float way up there by magic it seems.
Scientists are messing about in their labs.
Schools are having a few discipline problems.
The police continue to try to bring about law and order.
Armies continue to use a military solution to the worlds problems.
The Un has a new south korean leader.
Power continues to corrupt somewhat still.
The world is slowly changing its energy sector.
No more gold is being made.
In markets money continues to circulate and be exchanged.
In health news people still continue to get well and sick.
Etc. etc. etc.
