Short term, yeah, some of that stuff doesnt seem too helpful, but who knows what tomorrow brings. Trying to hang on to what we got, may not be the answer. Anyway, just trying to be devil's advocate here. Base emotional habits - addiction - 1 in every 6 people in USA (do not know the global statistics) are drugged 24 hours a day either by legal prescription or illegal drugs. Continual brain washing => TV advertizing and government run news services. General idiocy stupidity and ignorance slovenliness lazyness sinking to the lowest common denominator as a guide. Cultural programming: religion mind control - political mind control - econonomic *profit motive only* mind control - closed social and family systems - addiction to competition as a measure of social and personal self esteem. Certain human life styles are more compatible than others to harmonious planetary coexisitence. Maybe keep that in mind when considering your response. 1. Compatible things. Things that are "compatible" and "lead to" or "foster" a mutual, sustainable and healthy coexistance with the Earth? 2. Incompatible things. Things that are "incompatible" and "lead to" or "foster" a destructive, dying and unhealthy coexistance with the Earth? Explanation: Just like cancer is incompatible with some, much or all of the human body, certain activies and beliefs and such of humanity and human activity have shown to be incompatible with certain activities and directions of the earth. It is as though the earth is headed or maintains a certain direction and humanity desires to go in another. If thus we wish to continue to live here on this particular planet, we must adapt to the rules and or conditions of the "host" or take our living elsewhere. Yes in a way it is a question of freedom but of responsiblity as well. If a gardener grows a garden he can choose to trash it but that isn't a terribly wise or compatible thing to do if he desires a longer life.
