The Museum of Depressionist Art has currently on exhibit Blue Boy with Blue Dog by Tommy "Pistonbreeches" Gainesboro (later addition by Rodrigger)
The blue dog was added much later. As the secondary artist put it, "I was drunk, the guards weren't watching the painting, and every boy should have a dog, dontcha think? Source: The Museum of Depressionist Art

Fine choice of dog by the Painter. Incidentally, I just spent about 5 hours in a room with a welsh corgi, and he was very well behaved. I can honestly say that i havent been in close proximity to any other welsh corgi's in at least a year or two, so I am finding this blog entry a very meaningful coincidence. I wasn't aware of the blue strain of the breed though.

Also have noticed weird synchronicities with beagles showing up in clusters. Must research this whole, "low slung dog" connection with sychronicity.
