if you're using "dollars," which really aren't "dollars" you'll find yourself following the law of diminishing returns. It will soon be even more worthless than it is now. A society based on fractional reserve banking and debt is doomed. You could, of course, join this bandwagon: http://libertydollar.org/ or use them all and sell information which is the key to the next revolution in monetary architecture. Ray Kurzweil, for instance, eanrs $25,000 phoney dollars for each lecture he gives and he doesn't care whether it's real or not.

Space cooties will be the next form of currency but, eventually, they, too, will go out of fasion. So... go rob a bank. But you didn't hear that from me. It's free phoney money! Thin air based on nothing! Using it transfers title to those who lend it to you thus enslaving you into the system of debt based eco-slavery. Economics just means budgeting. House budgeting. Thus... more income than outflow is good budgeting. Credit is phoney banking to the max... take a look at America. Where is it headed? Study history. "Humpty dumpty had a great fall..." - TaTa

that right now we are living in the wake of past returns. ;)

I loved that movie (Pay It Forward) and tend to do something a little similar though not quite as noble, called 'paying my dues in advance'. So that sometimes it seems like I'm getting something for nothing until I remember, oh yeah, I paid that one already!

To me the phrase 'casting your bread on the waters' means to give without any thought of return, in other words, just putting it out there out of love and nothing else.
