Hence the need for more power lines. Global mean temperature has gone up about 0.6 ^ C since 1940 and most of it in about the last 10 or less years and what Im hearing in the media and news and weather reports and personal "observations" seems to confirm this so, I'm sticking to that plan. I think its naive to think the warming is driven though by only one factor, there are numerous factors like solar, CO2 greenhouse gases, biocapacity breech, cars, power generation, meat production, stock market activity, and abode warming and apparently in the USA the major source of energy use is "cooling or air conditioning" so considering all of those things are going to continue to be driven up by an increasing populations temperatures can only continue to rise or global metabolic activity can only continue to increase but it can't because biocapacity is now at the point where we are using 1.3 more planet than we have so.
